Editorial review from Citysearch 11/27/2013

My wife and I were taught Ballroom and Latin dancing by Peter & Margaret during the 1980's as Peter was just getting started and we found the experience very pleasant. No pressure to take private lessons unlike the franchises in Tampa. The lessons took place at the recreation centre on North Boulevard, with a social evening in Hyde Park.\r Peter trained at Dame Peggy Spencer's Ballroom in London to ISTD standard\r My wife and I have again taken up lessons in our retirement in England and Peter's training still pops up in various dances that he taught us.\r \r Dewdropflower must be mixing this studio up with the franchises.\r All the best to Peter & Margaret . Come Dancing is the perfect studio for a beginning dancer. The owners of Come Dancing, Peter and Margaret Waterson are two of the most highly regarded instructors in the area. Mr. Waterson travels the country adjudicating dance competitions. Pros: best instructors more

I took two months there, it was a great value. 9/5/2008

It is on the side of Britton Plaza, a little hard to find. I had no problems learning dance there. Pros: Up front costs, no contract Cons: Favored couples more

Not for Beginners! 6/18/2007

The group classes offered here are really meant for seasoned dancers, who are looking for a quick refresher. Any beginner, who is unfamiliar, will be totally lost and thus persauded to taking their very expensive one-on-one classes. This is a clever marketing ploy! It is unfortunate that most people will fall for this and will take the expensive private lessons. They will, however, come away from it all with a much lighter pocket book and an extremely high frustration level that will probably keep them from every trying dance again! I speak from experience! Don't be fooled into paying for these lessons upfront! That is only another red flag! It means they have your money and don't really have to provide a decent product! There is no incentive for them to be a good instructor, once they have your money with no refunds! They don't care if you ever come back! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! YOU'LL GET BURNED!! more
