I agree Comcast is a horrible company to do business with, but if you can get with the right techs they can solve problems I had been experiencing problems for the lash six months,finally thanks be to god tech Chris Nichols 5215 and Jason QUARELS 1141came out on yesterday afternoon ,they ran test , and finally pinpointed my problem and repaired my service Iwould like to say techs like Jason Quarels and Chris Nichols gets a AAA rating ,as far as I am conserned these guys gets my highes appreciation Comcast be proud you have employees like these,altho you are ahorrible company to do business with you are protected by good dedicated employees,like these two find young men please try to do better by your customers. more

COMCAST has the worst customer service and is incredibly difficult . I was on the phone twice today (total over an hour) and BOTH times they disconnected me. they continue to bill me for charges that are incorrect and make it as hard as possible to communicate with them to get resolved. thumbs down.. way down! more

Terrible Customer Service 5/19/2012

I wanted to get service turned on at my new address. They claimed it was ""un-serviceable"" because someone left that address owing $153. They won't turn on the service unless I drive to their office, show them my lease, etc. At $4 a gallon for gas and the hour or 2 that it will take, I now have to show the burden of proof. So some deadbeat can skip out on the bill and Comcast puts the responsibility on the next person to handle their scoff attitude. . more

Waste of time - and questionable billing try 2/1/2012

I'm moving into town from the DC area and needed to get internet and phone line for our new house. After being transferred to multiple different ""regional"" call centers (my cell phone has a 202 area code) I sat on hold for 15 mins just to be told I needed to call another number. I tried again, and the automated system insisted I give them a phone number for my account. After making up a random number with 615 area code, and random digits for SS#... my fictional persona apparently has a balance of $210 and I have the option to easily pay right there over the phone! If it takes me more than 45 minutes just to get a hold of someone to SIGN UP for the service, I can't imagine my frustration when something is wrong. Not to mention, the money grab on a fake person (unless I magically synced up a real phone number with last 4 digits of that person's social...) was just weird. more

INTERNET ISSUES STILL NOT FIXED!!!! 6/9/2011

I have had Comcrap for many years only because there is no other alternative. Currently, I have had an ongoing reception problem with Comcast's service for the last 2 weeks. Is it fixed yet? NO! Appointments are made and then broken. No one shows up and when I call I am told the appointment was canceled. Several times the appointment is assigned to a ""dummy"" technician - meaning that Comcast's dispatch section just threw it in the garbage can. Comcast's Customer Non-Service representatives apparently do not know who they work for because when asked for a name and contact number for senior management in the Nashville office I am told ""I don't have that information."" more

Several times the appointment is assigned to a "dummy" technician - meaning that Comcast's dispatch section just threw it in the garbage can. Comcast's Customer Non-Service representatives apparently do not know who they work for because when asked for a name and contact number for senior management in the Nashville office I am told "I don't have that information." When I threathen to leave to DSL, they still don't seem to care. I ask to escalate to management, doen'st happen!! I supposely have another TECH coming out on Monday but I am not holding my breath!!! Would love to have another cable competitor!!! more

My cable was out. I called the toll free customer service. Of course the CSR was from some country east of New York and West of China! This idiot kept trying to sell me services and upgrades after I kept asking for assistance with my cable. LIKE FIVE TIMES - he simply would not transfer me. I had to hang up. Some examples of what a broken record sounds like: Sir you are eligible for an upgrade - NO I do not want it. Sir You do not have phone service - you should get a phone package, NO I do not want it Sir, you are missing out on a great opportunity, I do not care - Please get me someone who can help with my cable. What a moron. I am moving next month, hopefully I have more options. Unfortunately, I did not have an option to rate less than 1 star - Good Luck People more

My TV began losing signal the day it was installed, which was also the day I notified them of the problem, yet Comcast still told me I might be charged for a service call. The point was moot as their technician failed to show for two separate appointments, for both of which I had to take a half day off from work. I canceled service and ripped the cables from my home. more

hateful customer service 2/13/2011

I've had comcast for 10 years because I have no choice! As another reviewer points out, they need a major competitor to knock some sense into their system. The list of problems I've had is endless, but my biggest complaint is the attitude of their customer service. They treat you like an idiot over the phone, sarcastically quipping, "do you know the difference between a router and a modem?" Yes, because I've had to fix their poor set-up many times over the years because I dread talking to their customer service! I've sat on a lot of problems because I can't stand dealing with them. When the cable men come to your house they are hateful and talk to you like you are an idiot and look at you like you are a freak. I don't care if they are overworked; they should be grateful they have jobs! Stop treating customers poorly! more

Internet service is slow; cable service is intermittent, tried the phone service once and had it disconnected 24 hours after start up. Save your money and use competitors, sorry we have to deal with Comcast in Nashville. Pros: none! Cons: not enough space to list... more

Currently, I have had an ongoing reception problem with Comcast's service for the last 8 months. Is it fixed yet? NO! Appointments are made and then broken. No one shows up and when I call I am told the appointment was canceled. Several times the appointment is assigned to a ""dummy"" technician - meaning that Comcast's dispatch section just threw it in the garbage can.
