Another disgrace for columbia 2/26/2011

Once agian Columbia shows it's true colors disgracing this soldier. It is certainly the right of all of us to speak freely but with the history of this institution it came of no surprise when I heard of this. When the administration continually promotes guest such as the Iranian dictator to speak to students it surely shows what agenda they follow, anti American. When are people going to wake up and realize we are at war, not by our choice but by those who have have decided they want us dead. Do we need another attack on our soil so these ingrates can jump on the band wagon of americanism only to bail when it comes time to back it up. We are spoiled Americans, we forgot what generations before us have sacrificed for our freedom. For once I would like to see Columbia do something to promote patriotism. This university should be ashamed of how they have repeatedly disgraced our wonderful country. more

The only Ivy League University in the City 1/13/2006

Columbia University is a lovely place to visit, go to school, or film a movie. The undergraduate wing - whose campuses are located in Morningside Heights around 116th and Broadway - include 3 separate colleges: Columbia College (for general studies), Fu Foundation School for Engineering and Applied Science (Fu SEAS), and Barnard College (a women's college). They all have their own charm. Pick the one that is best for you - you won't be disappointed! more

Columbia University 8/15/2005

I'm sure most people have heard of Columnia University, since it is one of the top Universities in New York City and the US. The education is top notch. From what I've heard, the classes are rigorous and challenges the students. You really do have to work hard to get by at this school. But once you do, finding work will be easy as Kids Jeopardy. The campus is really nice. The dorms look more like high priced New York City apartment buildings than ugly dorms in most universities. As I recall, all in coming freshmen get their own dorm rooms as well. That is very rare among Universities to offer individual dorm rooms. There are also many clubs and activities to join. Of all my friends who attend there, they all love it there. Go if you have the opportunity. more
