Let me first say that Coco Loco is not a latin music club, it's hip hop. It was the first Houston club I went to and It's my favorite out of all the others I have been to. I'm from Cali and I didn't expect it to be good, but it was. For the most part everyone there is just out to have a good time and dance. It has a way more relaxed atmosphere than Cali clubs and no pat downs, ha! There is a second room called the "freak room" which also plays hip hop. You can go in there to get away from the main dance floor or sit at a table and sip your drink. I met one of the DJ's, Mike Pierce and he's been a friend everytime I've been there since. I always meet cool people here.
