The guy who first helped me at the front desk didn't really seem like he knew what he was doing. They couldn't find my jeans when I came to pick them up, but I saw my old cut-off hems sitting on the front desk. The guy called me up later saying, ""I found the jeans in the back.""
When I picked them up something was not quite right. The thread sort of zig-zagged around the hem. I brought the jeans to a tailor and he spotted the bad hem job before I even said anything. He just chuckled. The jeans weren't even the same length all around the leg openings.
Cobbler also left my jeans longer than I had asked, so at least it's easy to fix this mess. I don't know about the quality of their other work, but don't get jeans hemmed there.
