This place catches as soon as you walk in, they greet you in hats with tall long dresses with aprons, and great big smiles.
They only serve fried Chicken, fried shrimp, and fried fish, with any kind of potatoes, pickled onions, cole slaw, greens, and they bring your cornbread to the table in a small cast iron skillet and flip it for you, I must admit tho, they do make some misses, just not often.. When everyones fried food comes, it is all on one big metal tray and you grab yours and if you are fast, maybe a few other peoples too....put it on your tin plate and you drink out of your tin cup... everything else comes in tall crock jars.....
There is no way not to enjoy this place.. there is 2 of them, one on a small creek and the other is on the Mobile Bay, with wonderful views...
