Paint your own pottery 2/21/2009

A friend of mine who has two kids and myself with 3, visited Clay Creations in Pacifica for the first time. (CC moved so they are no longer in the Eureka Shopping Center.) We got there when they opened (noon) and stayed for over 2 hrs! My youngest is 2 and my friends youngest is 4 so you can imagine their retention time ran out well into 45 mins of painting. But the lady who owns the place was so accomodating and patient with all of us. She made us feel right at home even though there was pottery and figurines all around us. She is a very calm and welcoming and kind lady and we definitely enjoyed our time there. The selection was much better than the Color Me Mine store in Westlake. I was there recently and they did not have too exciting of a selection. Clay creations offered a lot more! more

An incredible place! I learned so much and made great friends. Can't think of what I'd do without it! 3/31/2008

The Best Pottery Studio around - seriously. 4/10/2006

I love painting pottery and doing anything creative. Clay Creations is the best studio i have been to anywhere. There is ample parking. it is less then 20 min from San Francisco. There are classes and events for kids and adults such as Kids Night Out (drop the kids), Girls Night Out (bring wine, get discounts), they have potters wheel and clay classes for kids and adults. There is a mosaic workshop. They do birthday parties and showers. The fund raise for their community. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I am addicted and have to go and relax on friday night after a long work week. It is so therapudic. I am so impressed. My friend is signing her daughter up for summer camp and a mother daughter tea party. Pros: Great staff, Ample parking, great variety Cons: cash and check only, not great for babies more
