The sliders are great. They come plain with all the veggies on the side so you can put what you want. They take prime card so you can get 20% off. The hot fudge sundae is really g...

Expensive, but amazingly accommodating!! 5/20/2012

They have a complimentary baby plate and place mats that stick to the table. Kids meals get pricey. more

Omg!!! Sooooo much food! 4/22/2010

Nice full super size meals. The crabcakes are awesome here! The menu is very full. Lots of good choices. Don't forget to order the chocolate cake!\r mummm Pros: Large heavy menu Cons: Slow service more

Happy Hour at Claim Jumper 1/9/2010

We found little to recommend CJ's Happy Hour, however the hours are from 3-7 which is a little unusual.\r The drink specials are fine but the Lemon Drop wasn't really muddled and we tried the White Sangria and wasn't impressed. The Happy Hour food specials are pretty standard with most being deep fried (ugh). I would recommend the roasted tomato flatbread and maybe the sliders (served two to the order, not the usual three). I know the restaurant portions are huge but that doesn't apply to the bar food. Still, it was fun to try some place new and the staff is friendly! \r Pros: Great service Cons: None you shouldn't expect more

The usual 12/20/2009

A bite of amerca. Well maybe thousands of bite in one order but it is worth the money. The service has always been good. Recommended. Cons: Alot of food more

Huge portions of low quality food. 4/16/2007

Unfortunately I had to visit Claim Jumper again for a business function. This was about the third time I have eaten there and have yet to get what I would consider decent food. Everytime the food has been bland and tasteless. My lastest attempt I got the Rib-Eye which was tough and the blue cheese tasted like sour cream left out on the counter too long. Other dishes I have tried to my dismay were Chicken-Pot Pie and their Calamari dinner. Not a single one of these dishes warrants ever eating there again. The portions are so large they border on hyperbole. Claim Jumper feels like more of a cliche than an eating eastablishment because they focus on the size of the portions and not the quality. It's amazing that this chain still exists as I have been to three different restuarants with the same poor results. Service is average and the menu selection is good, but when the quality of the food is low who cares how many different entrees exist. Just another low-quality american restaurant serving up obesity one platter at a time. Pros: Service was okay. Kids are amazed by the size of the dishes. Cons: Big portions of low-quality (read not tasty) food. more

Huge portions, great service, but make reservations if you can 11/22/2006

Definitely the words Hefty, Hefty, Hefty comes to mind. I'm referring to the food portions. I think most people can get away with sharing a dish there easily and still leave full. Its obvious that the portions are huge since many people actually take a lot of it home with them if you ever watched them stream out of the restaurant.\r \r The menu selection is huge. I would almost compare the size of the menu to that of the Cheesecake Factory. In fact I would almost compare the quality of the food to that of the Cheesecake Factory too. Hmmm wonder if they're owned by the same people. \r \r Anyways, the place is for sorts of people --- kids, family, couples, dates, etc. The place is large enough to have this variety. The food is tastey and if you haven't figured it out yet, the portions are huge. Pros: Huge portions, wide selection, dessert scrumptious Cons: Parking is horrible, lines are horribly long - get a reservation more

Claim Jumper is awesome! 11/15/2006

When it first opened, I kept hearing so many good things about it. When I finally went, I definately wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was ok. Claim Jumper is one of the best American food restaurants that I have been to. Pros: Great food, huge desserts Cons: long wait to be seated during dinner more

Large portions! 11/3/2006

If you like to eat a lot and be stuffed - go here! We never manage to leave not stuffed. The portions are more than generous. The food is very good and a great menu - lots of selections. Try going for just dessert and have the Mother Lode Cake! more

Good but beware 12/18/2005

All I can say is that if you order a double drink, they charge you for two single drinks. As in, if a rum and coke is $7, a double rum and coke is $14. It can add up pretty quick! I wish they had told us that before we got the bill. For the rest, their menu has a wide variety, the food is pretty good and we had fantastic service. Pros: diverse menu, great service, happy hour Cons: too much food, expensive more

I love Claim Jumper! 5/22/2004

So the prices are kinda high, but definently worth the portion sizes (don't worry, you'll have lunch tomorrow). Service at the Redmond one is okay, but I find them to be nicer at the Tukwila location. Faves: Bacon Cheddar soup and the Calamari (I love it!). Only complaint I have is management at Redmond wasn't very polite on one experience with a drink. Pros: Food portions, Appetizers more

Used to come here all the time... 7/24/2003

When I first moved to the eastside, this was a place I would come often with my boyfriend and we would sit in the bar and enjoy an appetizer/meal. I think we kept going back for their variety on their menu. We have since learned that it is just so hit and miss, that I would rather spend my dining out dollar elsewhere. You will always get plenty of food, when it arrives. You will always get service, eventually, but about half the time, one of our orders was wrong. Very comfortable environment, and would be a great place to take a date if all you were gonna do is drink. Pros: Beer is cold, HUGE PORTIONS Cons: Service is spotty, Food is "OK", pay for huge portions more

Big Portions, Big Lines, Big Bellies 4/21/2003

Expect to work up an appetite waiting for a table at this place...it's very busy so call ahead to put your name on the waiting list. Once you're seated though, get ready to eat, the menu is extensive and the food portions are every bit as large. Don't go to the Claim Jumper if you're on a diet-it's tough to find ""healthy"" menu items. The food quality is pretty good (solid casual dining type quality). The atmosphere is kind of unique given the decor...it's like The Cheesecake Factory (busy and big) meets the hunters lodge (outdoorsy decor). The service was friendly and efficient (they must have a huge kitchen). Pros: Big Menu, Big Portions, Good Service Cons: Busy-big linue ups, Hight Fat/Cal Menu more
