PLEASE E-MAIL ME AT ahguerrero24@yahoo if this company has ripped you off. I have filed a small claim against them and would like to take statements from others who have also been a victim of this company. I sent them $2200 and have been able to recover $1500. I am not going to let them keep $700 of our hard earned money for nothing. Google this company and you will get 1000's of reviews from people who have been ripped off by this company. I am a mother of two little girls and I am a full time student. My husband works hard to support our family and put me through school. Everything we have, we've worked for it. City Tire and Wheels thinks it's OK to keep money they haven't earned. I have not received any merchandise from this company, yet they refuse to give me the rest of my money. The more evidence I can bring to court, the better case I can build against them. A statement would have to include the following: Your full name and contact info. The declaration "I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct." And copies of any evidence you might have. If you're interested in joining me as a plaintiff, I would love to hear from you. If you live too far to travel to court, there is a way you can represent yourself by telephone. I ordered Tires on Monday 2/2/09, Promised tires would be shipped by Friday. Total w/ Shipping $160. The next week on Thursday (2/12/09) I get a phone call wanting to know what tires I ordered. Now my cost was a total of $290, said I owed $130 more. I told them to put my order on hold, I wanted to speak to a manager. The next day (2/13/09) I recieved a phone call from them, I was now told the total was $314!!!! Alomost Double the original amount. I told him to cancel my order and send me a refund. The refund was sent out on 3/13/09, two weeks later I am yet to recive it, they keep telling me to call back @ 5, I got very upfront with one gentleman about the BS tonite after I was (1) Told to call back @ 5, (2) Was told to call back in 15 min because they were busy on the 5 return call. (3) I called back 30 min later (due to nobody answering the phone) and was told the computer was down, call back @ 7 which is when they close according to "Mike". Lets just say the conversation ended real quick at that point because he hung up on me, I never cursed, or poked fingers, just told him I was tired of the BS run around and wanted some answers. I luckily have family that works near there and they will be going by in person to try and retrive my stolen money. (I live in Virginia) This place should be shut down and the people who operate it should be locked up on Larciny charges. Report them to the CA Better Business Beuro and send a letter to the editors of LOWRIDER magazine if you have had a problem with this company. We need this place to not be advertised in such a respected magazine. If LOWRIDER wants to help the advancement and continuance of the lowrider community, they need to eliminate those who hurt it. I too am experiencing the same as most of the City Tire & Wheels customers are stating on their reviews. This company seems to be a SCAM! I recently ordered some rims and paid thru Western Union. I was told that I should look to recieve my rims and tires in the next 4 days. Within 2 days I called back to get a tracking number and was told to call back at 5 pm PT. This was my first sign that something was not right. When I called after 5 I could not get a answer. Finally, after a couple of day of calling I got a representative that told me these rims were on back order from the manufacturer due to the lug spacing and to call back the next day during regular business hours to find out when City Tires would recieve them. Called back the next day they told me to call back at 5 pm. I explained the situation as was told that they would call me back. Of course I never go a call back. Now when I call they treat me as if I am bothering them, like I didn't send them my hard earned money. I am still trying to call and busy signals or no answers is all I am getting. I wish I would of been smart enought to read the reviews first. more
