Love Citrus! Have been going for years and cannot think of another spa I would go to! I am highly impressed with the staff and love love love Trang and Libby! Libby has taken extra time to provide me with a skin care regimen and after my facial (hours after) my skin never looked so amazing!!!! I go to Citrus for my waxing, massage and skincare needs! They are the best!!!! LOVE THEM! more

Ok, Not Great 1/19/2010

I've had several services there - massage, facials, and mani/pedi. All have been ok, not great. The mani & pedi were probably the best, although I thought they were overpriced. The massage was strange - she did a lot of it over the blanket, rather than directly on my skin. more

Loved it!!! 11/16/2009

I have traveled all over the country and through out the world experiencing massage. The massage I had at Citrus was by far the best massage I have ever had! The therapist was very warm hearted and informative. I have never been so relaxed and uplifted! more

EXTENSIONS FALL OUT, TERRIBLE COLOR 11/6/2009

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR $$ HERE! I GOT EXTENSTIONS PUT IN THE OTHER DAY AND 3 OF THEM FELL RIGHT OUT IN THE SHOWER THE FIRST WASH!! I ALSO HAD THEM DIED DARKER SINCE THEY WERE ORIGINALLY WAY TOO LIGHT AND THAT ALSO WASHED RIGHT OUT THE FIRST TIME!! WHEN I WENT BACK IN TO TELL THEM WHAT HAPPENED THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT. WHAT A WASTE. I REGRET EVER GOING THERE TO GET THIS TREATMENT DONE. NOT TO MENTION I PAID $25O FOR IT. more

Best colorist anywhere 8/23/2009

There is ONE colorist at Citrus who truly knows what she's doing: Jessica. She's sweet, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. She's Redken certified (NY) and does nothing BUT color, so it's her expertise. I had a disastrous color done by another salon, and she EXCELS at color correction (not too easy to do!). I've been back several times for regular color/highlights/lowlights, and I'll never go anywhere else. This chic knows what she's doing! (what a concept!!) more

Great Mani and Pedi's 8/23/2009

I get most of many manicure and pedicures here and they do a great job. It's a very friendly atmosphere and the Citrus style mani and pedi's are very enjoyable. more

awful color and service 2/20/2009

First - the pro - I had a great massage - recommend Bernadette! Second - the negative - I had my hair highlighted and found pieces after I left that were poorly done - spots of hair without color on the same strand. I called to set up a time to come in to have it fixed - both the receptionist and the colorist were completely unaccommodating basically stating 'oh well we can't help you if you can't make it in at these specific times' ! I called back to speak to a manager and was told there were no managers available. AWFUL customer service! Don't waste your time or money here - there's a very good chance you'll be disappointed. more

Would not go again 2/4/2009

I had gotten a gift card and decided to give Citrus a try. The atmosphere in the massage area is great. The experience ended there. When I was taken back into my treatment room, it was cold and I could hear the salon noise. My massage was one of the worst I have ever had in my life (I get about 1 per month). The lady giving me my massage put cold oil directly on me instead of warming it up in her hands. This happened throughout the massage. The massage itself lacked technique. I should have stopped the massage. I was more stressed and annoyed than when I first arrived. more

Center City Prices, Hair Cuttery Style 6/11/2008

I have yet to find someone there who can give a truly decent haircut. There is always something wrong, and I do mean wrong: the layers don't blend right, the bottom isn't nicely cut, the hair just hangs. The stylists don't seem to have the talent or training to match the prices they charge, which keep going up. I'd rather not have to go downtown to get my hair done, but I may as well. Either that, or go to the the Hair Cuttery. I'm tired of getting bad haircuts from this place. Pros: Close by. Cons: Stylists don't have the talent or skill to match their prices. more

The place is big, and beautiful, and most of the staff is nice but the hair is SO outdated!!! I talked with my stylist about adding sun kissed highlights that catch the light and then had my hair wrapped in foils in the same pattern as everywhere else. My hair looks no different than when I go anywhere else. This place is all talk and my blowout was SO outdated. Pros: Parking, staff is nice. Cons: Same old techniques with big talk. more

Worst spa i have been to 12/18/2007

This salon and spa has to be one of the worst spa i have been to! I was recently in getting a message that my husband had treated me and my two girlfriends to! I was in getting a message and in the middle of it i hear this loud banging here they were hammering in the spa and thought that we wouldn't here it i guess and then when complaining the owners where very un-compassionate and unwilling to even refund some of my money. I would not refer this salon to anyone at all but i will compliment my massage therapist Barb she was amazing and extremely nice! more

Disaster hair coloring 2/16/2007

One of the hair technicians is a menace to hair coloring. From a simple request to have my gray covered but leaving the rest of the color intact, I wound up with an orange hair disaster worse than Lucy's. more

The Swedish massage by Matthew is the best I've had anywhere. He is expert, professional, and sensitive to client's preference for degree of pressure and level of privacy. more

Excellent massage therapist staff 9/30/2006

I've been to several spas in the Philly area for massage and facial treatments. Citrus has earned my loyalty for the past 6 months. I go at least twice a month for a massage and that routine has helped me to improve my sense of physical well-being. There are at least 3 massage therapists on staff with whom I feel comfortable and who have excellent technique and interpersonal skills. It can be a little hectic on Fridays and Saturdays, so book early, arrive with time to spare, and enjoy! It is worth every single penny. I'm looking forward to trying a body treatment next month. I have every confidence it will be excellent. more
