Some good and some bad staff doctors but the owner Dr Lentch has a policy that they will not do parent consultations without the child there because they can't bill you. The office mgr said this verbatim. They only care about billing and $'s you can find better pediatrics in Katy! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 5/31/2013

After many years of going to this practice, way back when she first started, I have decided I can no longer take my 3 kids here. I have had enough! I liked Dr. Lentsch. But she no longer sees patients, and I do not have the same confidence in the medical abilities of the other doctors. I can go on and on, but after repeated misdiagnoses, questionable treatments/meds, poor bedside manners, I realize that my kids deserve better. Just because the practice sees you same day is not justification to continue going there! Medical competence and quality patient care, should be a priority! In addition, I too have recently had a terrible experience with the office staff. Unbelievable experience just switching records to my new Doctor. Steer Clear!!! more

OMG I read all these bad reviews and had to write a great one. I see Dr. Kyle and she is AMAZING! I wish she could be my dr! Great practice, as when I first came I saw most of the drs before settling with Dr. Kyle. I did not choose her over the other drs for any reason. I had a medical issue with my son and decided switching btw doctors made me have to reexplain too many times. I really love her and think if your in Katy looking for a place - this is it! more

Misdiagnosed my daughter too!! 1/26/2012

Wow, I am so glad I am not the only one who felt the doctor had an awful bedside manner. She makes you feel as if you are bothering her when you are simply concerned about your child's health!! I went to her years ago before she moved office locations. My then 3 year old daughter had a high fever (102-104) on and off for 4 days in a row. We took her in on day 2 of the fever (first day we just tried to wait it out) and the doctor said she jsut had a virus that had to run it's course and to alternate Tylenol and Motrin to help bring her fever down. Next day, same thing and we took her back in. Lentsch still did nothing, said it was a virus. Finally on the 4th day we took her back in and my husband insisted she run some tests or do something as my daughter had a high fever and was lethargic for the past 3 days. Lentsch did nothing and insisted it was a virus that had to run it's course. We took my daughter to the ER as soon as we left her office and it ends up my 3 year-old had pneumonia!! I was livid!! Needless to say, I NEVER went back to her and advised all my mom friends to steer clear of her office. She is horrible, worthless in my book. more

Dr. Lentsch is a SHARK!! 9/16/2011

They literally charge for EVERYTHING!! Including faxing in a medical release form and making you pick it up and pay $5 for it. My 3 kids have been patients there for years and I finally got fed up. First, they have misdiagnosed my youngest at least 3 times, they diagnosed thrush when it was just milk and they couldn more

Overall very good 8/26/2011

Overall we have had very positive experiences with this practice. Office staff is friendly, helpful, will explain anything you need. But our last experience was a little unsettling. We have two kids, one was in because he was sick. They offered to give both of them yearly flu shots. Then, they charged for two office visits - even though no doctor ever saw the second one. In my opinion, totally fraudulent billing. I'm seriously considering filing a complaint with the Texas Insurance commission. more

BEWARE OF ALL THE EXTRA CHARGES! 8/5/2011

I have never been to a doctors office that charges you for EVERYTHING!!! If you need the doctor to simply fill out a form for your child's physicial you will be charged. Now mind you this is not a fee to perform the physical but to simply complete the form- basically checking a few boxes and a signature. If you need a copy of your child's records you WILL be required to pay $25. Last I checked, Xerox copies didn't set a doctor's office that far back. The list goes on and on, but the picture has been drawn. As for the level of service, I agree with the posting that it's all about volume. When you go, you never know which doctor you will see and once you are called you are rushed through- feels like an assembly line and then you're lucky to get about 5 mintues with the doctor. All in all, I felt rushed and sucked dry for every dollar they could get out of me. I've found a new doctor in the Katy area and it's a much better experience not to mention I don't have to worry about taking my check book each time we visit. more

LOVE THIS PLACE!! 7/2/2011

My daughter has been coming here since she was 6 months old. In the past year I have been able to experience each doctor. It gave me a chance to see which one would be best for my daughter (each doctor's personality is awesome but different). I now see one doctor there since my daughter loves her so much!! I usually wait in a doctor's lobby for 20-30 minutes, but here..I only wait two minutes! The office is so clean, everyone is extremely friendly, and they go above and beyond to make sure you and your little ones are happy!! more

Fantastic Pediatricians and Great Staff 2/1/2011

I'm not sure how many doctors you have ever visited that will see you a few minutes after you walk in the door for your appointment, but this group always will. The doctors, nurses and support staff are courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. The doctors at this practice are sharp and genuinely concerned for the health of the patients and sanity and support of the parents. Almost every family I know in the area sees these pediatricians and has had the same great experiences. more

The Worst...Finally fed up 10/13/2009

We have been going to the doctor for a long time, and she gets worse, and worse as time goes on. It's all about packing them in. She has misdiagnosed many times over the years. She makes you feel very rushed, almost as if you feel like you are chasing her as she is running out your door. I would be surprised if she has spent more than 5 minutes with us EVER. It's all about volume. She takes advantage of the fact that she is so convenient to everyone. I know several people who have finally gotten fed up with her. She has an answer/ excuse for everything. She is very good at covering herself. So beware...if convenience is all you need..she is the one for you. But, when it comes to care, big thumbs down. The only thing besides location she has going for her is that her office staff is nice. Pros: convenient if you live in Katy Cons: too many to list more

Best place EVER 7/30/2009

I have been taking my sons to CRP since they were born! I actually have switched insurances to remain a patient with them. As far as being rushed all I have ever had to do was to tell them to wait and all of my questions have been answered. It is also nice to be able to email with minor problems and know that they will be answered within a reasonable amount of time. I love the staff and appreciate that if my kids are sick they are never so overbooked that I cannot get in more

Ridiculous new fee...money is all that is on her mind 7/29/2009

Dr. Lentsch is now charging a $5 fee for each medical release form she has to sign. So, if you enroll your 3 kids in preschool, you are paying her $15 to simply sign a form. It is totally ridiculous. As far as office visits go, you are in and out in about 3 minutes. It's rush, rush. She is definitely all about the money and not the well being of her patients. more

Go to Readyclinic, you'll pay less for more 3/20/2009

consultation with the doctor lasts less than 2 minutes, the basic checks are not performed. Go there only if you know what prescription medication you need... a waste of time and money. Pros: No waiting list to get appointments Cons: Doctor only cares about her bill more

It's all about the money 1/26/2009

This Doctor get's worse every year and each visit, you get a glimpse of the Doctor. It's more about how much money is coming in, than patient care. My daughter was a patient of the Doctor and the one time due to insurance mishaps my daughter was refused services. Imagine a 6 year old sick, being turned away. I never met such a heartless Doctor and the refusal of treatment my daughter received was inhumane. I will be reporting to the Boards. So beware, it's all about the money, this Doctor could care less about your child. Your child is just a number, or should I say just a $ sign. Pros: Nice Building Cons: Bad Service, no compassion, poor bedside manners more

GREAT experience! 11/23/2008

I switched to Dr. Lentsch from a different ped office. Today was our first visit, and I have to say, it was GREAT!! more

NOT FOR A FIRST TIME PARENT. NO...DON'T DO IT. 9/24/2008

First off, I personally loved the friendly staff, nice new facility, great and wonderful practitioner nurse who's personality win any patient over. The main downfall is the main doctor. I'm a first time parent with a lot of questions that she apparently has no time for. The whole process is way too fast. Its almost as if I'm a NASSCAR driver pulling into the pit for new tires!! IN AND OUT!! Made me so nervous that I forgot the questions I had for her. I do not reccomend this doctor for first time parents. If I could compare them to my son's new doctor? Well this doctor is nowhere near as fast but she takes her time. Hey and get this...she asked me if I had any questions!!! CRP has no wait time, nice facility, but not for a first time parent.. Pros: Nice new facility, staff, no wait time, wonderful nurse pract Cons: Not flexable, way too fast for 1st time parents, rude doctor more

cinco ranch pediatrics has rude staff and doctors racing to get out of the exam room! 9/23/2008

this place is just horrible. the staff is RUDE and the doctor is so fast i can't even catch my breath. one of the staff members asked me developmental questions for my daughter and i got so confused because she was asking them at record speed. i have been left in the exam room 3 times not knowing if we were finished with the exam or not!!! THESE ARE MY CHILDREN~MY LIFE~they do not deserve that type of treatment. the ONLY person that deserves any credit is the nurse practioner for dr. lentsch. the entire staff should learn from her. she actually cared about my children and had a smile on her face and made me feel at ease. she was truly concerned about all of my questions. Pros: one nurse practioner has a beauftiful personality Cons: the entire staff and doctors/rude and toooooo fast!!!! more

True disappointment 7/7/2008

The facility is beautiful with a wonderful, separate sitting area for sick and well children. The staff is very friendly, as well. However, the Dr. seems a bit out of touch with providing care to patients and we often felt like we were being blown off when we would try to discuss the problems our toddler was having. When we see her, she is normally in the room for about 5 minutes, if we're lucky. When we would discuss how our child was not getting better with her sinus problems, she would insist our child was just suffering from allergies EVERY TIME. After 6 months of going through countless allergy medicines and different regimens, as well as several doctor visits per month (which is COSTLY!) because our child couldn't stop coughing throughout the night EVERY NIGHT, I decided to take our child to another doctor. Come to find out our child DOES NOT have allergies. And, after 2 days of treatment, our little one has slept through the night with no sign of congestion, coughing, or sinuses ever since. A LOT of money, time away from work (which didn't seem to matter to them) and frustration was wasted taking our child here! Pros: Minimal wait, nice facility, nice staff Cons: Lack of quality in caring for patients more

Bad place to send your children to. 6/24/2008

I have seen any worse doctors than these in this Cinco Ranch Pediatrics. I took my daughter there 2 times just because it's very close to my house. The doctors there finish examing my daughter before I could catch a breath. Sometimes I wonder why they are doing this. Are they already rich enough ? more
