Omnimax and Children's Museum 11/14/2005

Something for both kids and adults. There is children's museum where you could probably spend all day - there are games and interactive exhibits that will entertain. Omnimax theatre can be enjoyed by the entire family. Movies don't rotate often, but they are really good and long enough to make it worth your while. Panoramic display showing breathtaking views of space or landscapes is not something you see every day. more

All in one museum destination. 8/20/2005

The Cincinnati Museum Center is a great place to spend the day or get an annual membership and visit often. You can visit the Children's Museum, The Cincinnati History Museum, The Museum of Natural Science or the Omnimax Theater. The history museum offers a wonderful model display of early 1900 Cincinnate, complete with working inclines. Children will also enjoy the interactive canal exhibit. Be sure to visit the caves in the science museum, they are a treat for all ages. more

Best Overall Package for Family Entertainment 8/18/2005

The Cincinnati Museum Center is the perfect location for family entertainment and education. They have a Children's Museum, Science Museum, and a History Museum. There’s a wonderful gift shop, as well as a “Grand Foyer” for large special events (like receptions and such). If you’re in Cincinnati, you don’t want to miss this place. If you live in Cincinnati, look in to getting a year membership (best price). more

A Great Way to Spend a Rainy Day 8/17/2005

If you have kids, you will want to pluck down a family membership for the Children's Museum. You will pay off a membership after only a couple of visits. Although you can pay for all three museums, you should opt for all three as it will provide for plenty of variety for only a little more price. You will also have to throw in the extra cost for parking since neighborhood parking is not an option due to safety and distance away. The Children's Museum has an elaborate jungle forest which the kids climb/slide through, a water play area, a ball area, an area for smaller kids, and other interactive displays. I have taken out of town visitors and they always comment on how much better it is than anything they have in their area. It can get crowded on weekends so you should hit it during a weekday if you get the chance. more

Cincinnati History Museum 8/17/2005

This museum consist of several smaller museums. You can buy a package to attend all, or just a ticket for the one you want to see. There is the History Museum, the sports museum and the Children's museum. They also have an Omnimax. There are several gift shops. The museum will also host 'special' meeting areas for large meetings in the theater and dining rooms. more
