My husband and I are Myrtle Beach locals and have been going to Chuck's for years. They have remodeled and reopened on Dec 27, 2013. Their comfortably rustic atmosphere has not changed, it is just cleaner and brighter with new carpet and such.\r \r Chuck's is the BEST place in Myrtle Beach hands down if you want a Steak or a Hamburger that is equal to eating a steak (they grind their own hamburger every day). Their Crab Cakes are also excellent. BUT, if you are going to Chuck's for Seafood GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !! Chuck's is a STEAKHOUSE folks ! Their steaks are superb, their service is excellent and they have a salad bar !\r \r We especially love their Happy Hour. The food on the Happy Hour menu the highest quality at the beach and includes their fantastic Hamburger at a discounted price. They also have free Cheese & Crackers, Nachos & Cheese and Popcorn for those of you who want FREE munchies with your drink. Happy hour runs from 4pm-7pm every day but I'd recommend more

ROTTEN FOOD 7/11/2011

Our family of 6 visited family in Myrtle Beach. On Thursday June 30, 2011 we decided to have dinner at Chucks Steakhouse. They have a huge reputation. We often have dinner at their restaurant in Connecticut and love it. Myrtle Beach was a huge dissaster. My 5 year old son ordered their lobster. It arrived, he took a bite and spit it out. Strange. My mother in law and my wife took a bite and they spit it out. The lobster was ROTTEN. We told the waitress and she simply left and did not take the ROTTEN food of the table, it simply remained there. Good service. Our steaks were tuff and hard. We again told the waitress. She did not care and simply left. When we got our bill, nothing was done, i.e. the lobster was still on the check. We made a comment and yes the lobster was taken off. Because we were with more than 6 people, the tip is included. Guess what! They had taken the lobster off the bill, but included the lobster to calculate the tip. What a service. While leaving I complained to the manager. I asked him why no one came to appologize for the bad food. His response. Of course we are sorry. I told him, no one came to our table and appologized and the bad lobster remained on our bill and tip was calculated including the bad lobster. He looked at me and said. That sometimes happens. People, Chuck's Steakhouse in Myrtle Beach should be avoided. In fact, I never again will visit any Chuck's Steackhouse. This experience was so bad that we as a family had enough. I hope the owners of Chuck Steakhouse will do something about the bad food and service in their restaurant in Myrtle Beach. I cannot recommend this place. STAY AWAY. There are ""better"" places. more

Nothing Special Here 5/21/2005

Nice room, good parking, steaks are pretty good but hold the fish. By Myrtle Beach standards probably above average but compared to other areas steak houses is only fair. Salad bar did not have a large selection but did seem to be fresh Pros: parking Cons: seafood more
