I am so very thankful to Dr. Picerno. I have never been so well taken care of by a physician in the past. Having come to her with extreme ENT concerns and having an active infection, her attentiveness was heart warming. After being on medications for a few days, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Dr. Picerno herself (not a staff member), checking to see how I was doing. When she noticed that I was not 100% better she phoned in an additional medication that seemed to do the trick. You better believe that I will refer all family and friends to this amazing physician for any of their ENT concerns. more

Read the reviews... If you want your lips done or some other shallow swing at your vanity it seems Nicolette Picerno just might be the Doc for you! I just wish she had the decency and courage of her convictions to state up-front that this is where her true interests lie and quit wasting her time (and those of us who need serious medical attention for ENT related matters) accepting new ENT patients. I have seen her 3 times now and on each occasion I found her to be rude, arrogant, condescending and generally disinterested assuming she knows you better than you know yourself. She proved a poor listener and so, a poor diagnostician who would be well served checking her politics at the door. Her approach to my case was little more than a rubber-stamp diagnoses with barely a glance over her shoulder as she rushed out the door to whatever it was that was more important to her at the time, than was caring for my medical need. On each occasion it seemed that she couldn't escape my audience quickly enough. In total, I found her to be largely unprofessional and ill suited to the trade. In short. she's fired! more

I came to Dr. Cote as a second opinion ( because the first doctor I saw was horrible!) for my 2 year problem with a re-occurring infection in my ear as well as a septoplasty. Dr. Cote came in and actually listened to my two years of medical treatment I had already tried, was incredibly gentle with my tender ear, and so unbelievably professional, polite, and knowledgeable! He gave me a very detailed explanation of the surgery he would perform on my nose as well as my ear, made sure I fully understood everything, gave me options, asked if I had questions, and made sure I felt completely comfortable with everything! I of course decided to schedule my surgery with him and could not have been happier! The extremely polite staff explained very specifically what I could and could not do pre and post surgery as well as gave all the information regarding medications, surgery procedures, anesthesia company used, pre and post-op instructions, even directions to the surgery center in a very organized little folder. The actual surgery was a breeze and Dr. Cote did an absolutely fantastic job! Everyone was so understanding and calming as I was nervous having this be my first surgery. I had called a couple times pre and post op with questions and received immediate and knowledgeable responses from the staff and especially Dr. Cote himself. Everyone is incredibly here (especially Dr. Cote!) and I would VERY highly recommend seeing them for anything you can! Best doctor I've ever had and I wish I could see him for everything! This is how every doctor should strive to be. more

I saw Dr. Cote at the beginning of the year for rhinoplasty and corrective surgery. I and multiple things done to create better breathing and correct medical problems. I also had a mass of cartilage on the bridge of my nose removed and straightened out. When all was said and done I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. I breathe like a champ and love my appearance now! Dr. Cote and his staff were all wonderful. I felt so safe before during, and after the results. Everyone was so nice and helpful and I would recommend Dr. Cote's services to ANYONE! more

I saw Dr. Cote for a laser treatment. He was very caring and explained the procedure in detail so I did not have any concerns. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff. They made the procedure seem effortless. I would definitely have Dr. Cote perform additional cosmetic procedures for me. I was so impressed with Dr. Cote and his staff that I have recommended him to my family and friends. more

I saw Dr. Cote for a deviated septum which ultimately lead to nasal and sinus surgery. Dr. Cote has been fantastic! What I like most is his excellent bedside manner; calm, cool, reassuring and I never felt rushed when visiting with him. I feel like he really listened to what I had to say about my condition and worked through the best possible options for me. I wish I could see Dr. Cote for all of my medical needs! more

I was referred to Dr. Picerno's practice by one of my doctors for balance and throat/neck problems. She was the first available doctor that I could get an appointment with. Judging from the reviews on this site, she must be a great plastic surgeon, but from an ENT perspective, she wasn't the best. From the beginning of the visit I could tell she didn't want to handle my case. She was short with me, unfriendly and condescending. She did at least do an exam of my throat and neck, but was not very forthcoming with information when I asked her about comments she was having her PA write in my chart. She acted as if I should not be asking questions. I will give her credit for recommending further testing for my balance and the support staff was very kind and professional on the two additional visits I made to the office. I just wish when I had called in for an appointment, her staff had directed me to a doctor who specialized in ENT issues rather than a plastic surgeon who saw my issues as beneath her skill set. More to the point, I wish she had said that she prefers to handle plastic surgery cases and that she had referred me to one of her more willing colleagues. I saw several doctors for chronic sinus infections (8-10 per year) over the last 8 years using every antibiotic available. I decided to leave my doctor and see a specialist. Dr Picerno recommended and performed sinus surgery on me about 3 years ago. The only sinus infections I have had since the surgery have been my fault --forgetting to use my nasal allergy medication. Since my surgery, I have referred three other family members for ear, nose and throat issues, and all have been extremely happy with Nicolette. Pros: Very professional, excellent service more

Dr. Picerno injected the lines around my lips with Juvederm in April 2007. It is now nearing three months and the result is still very good. Dr. P was excellent - a real artist with this procedure. My lips look natural and back to what they were 10 years ago. They are not lumpy and are not over done. It hurt to have it done, but not excessively - sort of like bee stings. I actually went back to work, but will take the rest of the day off next time because it did swell some, but was gone in a day or so. The procedure was worth the pain and cost. I will have it done again and only by Dr. Picerno. Great office, super staff, wonderful doctor. Pros: Location, skill, facility was very nice more

Dr. Picerno performed upper eyelid surgery on me earlier this year. I am very pleased. I had no bruising and minimal pain following the procedure. Dr. Picerno was very thoughtful postoperatively and even called me at home to see how I was doing! more

I recently had an injectable procdure with Dr. Picerno. After goign through this with her, I cannot imagine goign anywhere else. She was the most down to earth, calming and genuine doctor I have ever seen - and not just for cosmetic surgery. At the same time, she was extremely well informed and my results were astonishing. Her staff and office were equally great and attentive. To top it off, she is very qualified and is even double board certified. I went to Dr Picerno because my friend had her lips done by her and they looked fantastic. I just wanted mine a little more pouty and when I had them done before at other doctors offices, they always looked like one thick line. She made them look beautiful and it didn't even hurt. The staff was pleasant, I did not have to wait and they even called the next day to see how I was doing. I w0uld definitely go back there to have it done again.
