Just got back from Orlando. The trip itself was grueling as we were in meetings most of the time. The one highlight was our dinner at Christinis. The staff took a bunch of grouchy, tired businessmen and had us laughing and relaxing before the appetizers even got to the table. The owner came over and greeted us and got even our grumpiest member to loosen up. Then their musician came over and just blew us away. He played any song that we could name and believe me we took great pleasure in coming up with the most obscure ones we could think of. Finally the food and wine were outstanding. Our only complaint is that we all ate way too much. more

We went to Christinis the other night and I lost one of my favorite earrings. I was very upset and called thinking that there was not way that I would get it back. Whoever was in the office was wonderful. She had the staff go and look for it and called me back within the hour to ask if I wanted it sent to me or if I would like to pick it up. The earrings were from my grandmother and I really appreciate the extra effort that they took to get them back to me. more

A number of years ago we discovered this amazing restaurant through a colleague. We were closing a deal and he brought us here to impress us. His tactic worked beautifully. The wine list is phenomenal, the food better than anything we have found anywhere else, and the owner personally comes over and jokes with the guests. It has become the place that we bring our own clients now when we need to impress. I can not tell you how many deals we have closed here. It seems to have the magic touch. more

We had been recommended to Christinis a while back by some friends of ours. When we went online though we had seen some particularly bad reviews and some amazingly good ones. We almost ended up going somewhere else. Our friends had been so enthusiastic about this place though that we thought what the heck. We are so glad that we went. The service was first class and the food was amazing. We ended up going back for the following two nights that we were in town. I can not imagine anyone not loving this place. It has swiftly become our favorite place to eat in Orlando. We particularly loved the calamari. more

We have been coming to Orlando for years and always looked for good restaurants. Unfortunately the ones recommended by the concierge and our taxi drivers always left us feeling unsatisfied. We are not into chain restaurants and Orlando is full of them. Finally on this last trip, one of the staff at our hotel mentioned Christinis. We ended up leaving him a big tip because of that advice. This place is charming. The calamari is to die for. And the tiramisu is the best we have ever had. And we actually got to meet the owner who kept us laughing. Our only complaint is that there is too much food. So try to eat lightly before you go there. more

I generally do not write reviews. Most places fall short of my expectations. Christinis was recommended by a friend of ours and honestly from all of his gushing I expected to be disappointed, like it was too good to be true. We got to the restaurant and it was busy so we had to wait at the bar. It was only for about 15 minutes though. When we got to our table, the waiter went out of his way to make our teenage daughter laugh, which anyone with a teenager knows is not an easy feat. She is even begging to go back on her birthday. It was her first fine dining restaurant and the staff really made her feel special. more

I travel alot and have eaten in New York, Chicago, Boston, LA, etc.. When I go I like to go to the nicer restaurants. A couple of years ago I discovered Christinis. Everyone had told me how good it is but I was skeptical. After the first experience I have gone back at least three times, whenever I am in town. Typically I bring business associates here and they are always impressed. The food is better than a lot of New York restaurants that I have been to and the service is outstanding. The only downside is that sometimes the music can be a little loud if someone has a brithday or anniversary near you. Other than that, I highly recommend it. more

We had read a bunch of reviews about this restaurant and had not been. We live in Orlando but on the other side of town so we had just never gotten around to trying it. We were really impressed. It is an upscale restaurant but the owner made us feel right at home. You do not get that in most places that we have been to. The food was delicious. I had the veal chop. It was amazing. We also loved the calamari and the tiramesu. It also had a really good wine menu. The restaurant was a bit pricey compared to what we are used to spending but they give you so much food that we took a good portion home and were able to have it for lunch the next day. more

We just went to Christinis again, which we do every time we are in town. The service was amazing and the food was out of this world. I love how the waiters actually walk women to the bathroom and how they give a rose to each lady. It is these little touches that keep us coming back. We have already recommended it to some of our cousins who are going to Orlando. more

Great date place! 8/27/2010

We had a great time here. Very romantic. A perfect date place. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service was amazing and the wine selection was impressive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! more

Old School Rip Off 7/7/2009

If you long for the seventies, Krustini's is for you. Lots of calorie laden sauces. Like high prices? Try the $67 Veal Chop!!! Pros: The Muzak Is Good, Some Celebrities Hang Here Cons: Old School Sauces, Prices Very High more

Perfect if you enjoy pushy waiters and over-priced food! 7/25/2008

The food was average and I felt the food and drinks were really over-priced - and my company was paying! Our waiter (Jonathon) was very pushy and constantly trying to get us to order the expensive specials, bottled water, up-sell on wine, etc. I don't appreciate that. He would poor wine for people drinking cocktails and that didn't even want wine; he either doesn't pay attention or he was just trying to get us to finish our bottle quickly so he could sell us another one! I won't go back by choice and would never go on my own dime. Cons: loud and expensive more

Best Restaurant in Orlando 2/5/2008

My company frequently visits Orlando for tradeshows and Christini's has been our number 1 favorite place to dine in Orlando for almost 4 years now. The service is excellent, food is some of the best I've ever had, and the ambiance is unlike most restaurants you'll find today. All in all I love this place and I give it 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!! Pros: excellent food & service Cons: there's not one in NC! more

Wouldn't recommend 1/24/2008

The web site for this restaurant says that Mr. Christini personally oversees the operations. The night I was there, he ""oversaw"" the operations by sitting at the bar, drinking wine and martinis, and then proceeded to verbally berate two extremely hard working waiters for not getting parmesan cheese to a table quick enough. You do that in the kitchen, not in the middle of the dining room so everyone can hear it. Not my idea of good management worthy of the high prices they charge. Food was good, not great, but good, not $200 for 2 before wine good, but after watching the owner in action, the food quality could not make up for the bad atmosphere in the dining room. Pros: good wait staff Cons: owner who demeans his good wait staff more

Overpriced, pompous restaurant with mediocre food 5/29/2007

I'm an easy person to please. Give me good food, nice comfortable surroundings, friendly waiters and I'm a happy guy! However once we stepped into Christini's I knew there would be none of that. The place is small, crowded, uncomfortable (at least our table was) and LOUD! Even louder were the people sitting next to us (almost on top of us). The wait staff was good and the waiter was very nice and friendly (not something I expected at all). The food was good, it wasn't great, it wasn't bad, it was just good. The waiter claimed the veal was a specialty, personally I didn't find anything special about it. Pros: Friendly waiter (I'm really trying hard to find a pro) Cons: Ambience, food, price more

Most romantic restaurant in Orlando 3/12/2006

Loosen your belts before going here because the food is outstanding. My favorites are the chilean seabass over a shrimp rissoto, the amazing eggplant dip with fresh home made bread, and the spicy zuppa de pesce. For dessert the chocolate mousse cake is awesome. The wine list is wonderful with many hard to find wines. At the end of the meal every woman gets a red rose, gallantly presented to her by your waiter. Soft lighting and strolling musicians cap off the evening to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant. Pros: amazing food, great service, really romantic more

DINERS BEWARE 12/3/2005

The food is average at best and we were treated as though we should have been grateful to have been waited on by the staff. We were deliberately persuaded by the staff to order the specials, which were grossly overpriced. Dinner for four, which included two average bottles of wine, $1,150. No kidding, $1,150. Well this isnt exactly a situation where you can put the item back at the check out counter so we got robbed. DINERS BEWARE!!! Cons: Condescending service, Overpriced more

Special Place 9/25/2002

Consistently fine food and great ambiance. Would be a star in NYC or anywhere. more

A Greek wanna be Italian 9/25/2002

Having dined at this establishment many times, hoping for improvement, you must settle for adequate presentations of entrees, heavy sauces, and limited quality cuisine that is only surpassed by an over rated atmosphere that lacks in intimacy and borders on absurd. The cost of the evening dining experience is vastly overpriced and it is about time that this Greek wanna-be-Italian understands what true Italian cuisine entails! but, then, the Romans did conquer the Greeks and it was not to obtain their vast knowledge of good cuisine in this instance! Pros: good parking, good wine list, location Cons: crowded, noisy, expensive, food quality more

Amazing ambience! 8/22/2002

Excellent dining at a romantic atmosphere. Service was amazing. The first time I had a spinach with portobello mushrooms salad, was here. WOW! How incredible was it? I have never tasted anything like it. Try it! Hey... It's a bit expensive, but it is worth it. Pros: food, ambience, service Cons: $, $, $ more
