Who would imagine that one of the most authentic Thai restaurants in Boston would be located in Charlestown? I enjoy many of the Thai restaurants in our city, but I think Chow Thai does the best with Duck ChoChee and many other traditional preparations, including a broad range of curries. While the owner is an American, I believe that his wife is Thai which accounts for the excellent preparations and flavorings. This is a low-key, but very homey and comfortable spot. It is well worth the trip to the beautiful main street area of Charlestown, near the Bunker Hill Monument and not far from "Old Ironsides" for some of the best Thai in the city.
