This review is much more of a story than a review since my experience at China House was one to never forget. One afternoon, I decided to go to Four Corners in Silver Spring and get a bite to eat and I thought "HEY! There's a Chinese restaurants open. Everyone loves Chinese food!" As soon as I walked in, to my suprise, the amount of seats prepared for the guests weren't many (no biggie). When it was my turn in line to order, the person taking my order show no sign of a happy facial expression and before I could even request for what I wanted, the woman seemed to have had some sort of a cold because of the amounts of tissues that were beside the cash register and her sneezing. When I finally got what I wanted, General Tso's chicken, the same sneezing woman who took my order, actually went to put the food in the little food basket, the one with the red Chinese symbols on it, and handed it to me WITHOUT any gloves, or at least a hair net on her. Actually, none of the employees were. If I were a mean person, they faces of the employees would look so embarassed because I would have yelled at them and cost them their customers. As I was leaving the restaurants, (by the way, I will NEVER go there again) I took a quick second to try a bite to see if it was worth every penny (obviously not) then threw my first, but last piece of what I had from China House away.
