While the facilities and three year old teacher, Ms. Kris is great, buyer beware of the administration! We had to disinroll our child during the second week because at 3 years and 4 months she will not potty train. The school has requires potty training. We were aware of this policy. Nonetheless, we held out hope that she would ""get it"" before school began or as soon as she saw the other kids using the toilet (which is not unheard of) .Our daughter was enrolled part time. We decided to remove her from the program because it was stressful for her because she was not potty trained and had a total of 3 pants wetting accidents there. She had an accident the first day. When we came to pick her up from school one teacher said to my husband, in front of our daughter, ""I hope this won't be a problem."" Some welcoming. The owner of childtime inc. only defended her employee, saying she knew her well and she meant no harm by this. She attended only 5 half days at the school. We payed the registration fee; $75, the month's tuition; $478 and a $250 fee to hold the space until school began. They refuse to give our $250 back even though they claim she is ""an extra"" in the class because most children attend the class full time. They said they were sorry for our ""circumstance"", but I feel they were cold in their interactions with us; never thinking to mention how this must have been hard for our daughter. As far as not speaking to the administration about our daughter's refusal to toilet train (we did speak to one of the teachers about our daughters refusal to use the toilet) they make you sign a paper saying that you will only go talk to them about concerns and not gossip with other parents about any troubles you might have at the school. Sounds like they have a problem or they wouldn't need such a policy. Otherwise, they could simply verbalize that they prefer you to come to them first with any concerns. This experience cost us us a lot of stress and $170/day. I did not feel like the administration creates an atmosphere of cooperation with the parents. Rather than nuturing their students, the owner is interested in making money. There are no exceptions with their policies there, regarless of circumstances. Period.
