I absolutely love CMA. I have 3 kids ages 2,6,and 9 and its the only place in the city where they can all go and there is something for everyone. There is paint and playdough and chalk for the little ones, self-portrait station, ball bond, animation, claymation for the older kids. And they always have a creative project or 2 in the open studio I even end up getting creative there. The teachers are all working artists and really engage the kids. I've loved it for years. Everyone is so relaxed. Not like a lot of places downtown that are way too structured for the kids. It's actually FUN! Also great is the ""WEE"" drop in class for the under 4 crowd and awesome Art Summer Camp there and on Governors Island. *****
