Children's Clinic East PC

He was recommended to us through a friend from church. Is wonderful with our little girl. She is our first, and we were very nervous about finding the right pediatrician. The nurses are excellent every time I called in with questions, and he is very thorough in her healthcare. We are very pleased, and feel very fortunate to have found someone who cares so much for our baby. You will wait on the phone, and sometimes in the office, for longer than anyone would like, but it is a Dr's office. They are busy and children are unpredictable. Great office all around! more

This is my fourth pediatrician's office in 4 years. I love Dr. Lett. The office is helpful, and willing to work you in with a sick child. more

This is my kids' primary clinic. I've taken them to both the Mt. J, and Hermitage locations. @ the Hermitage location, the young Dr. had her face in the portable computer the entire time, as she fired-off 20 questions. No real inter-action there. @ another visit, Dr. Johnson, a bit older and perhaps more experienced, was more engaging and knowledgeable. The Mt. J location is Okay. Not all too helpful in scheduling an appointment recently when my child was sick. We are just setteling for what is available, I guess. Tired of shopping around. more

As for both clinics ( Mt. Juliet and Hermitage), there are very few caring and compassionate physicians. Dr. Anderson has no bedside manner, Dr Kirschner makes rude comments towards the mothers, and as for my experience today with Dr. Shepherd in Mt Juliet, NEVER will I see this so-called physician again !! He was in such a hurry that he forgot to bandage my child's injured finger back up and told ME to tape the fingers together, this is his job !! But to top it off, by the time I was in the parking lot leaving, he was in his truck and off to LUNCH !! at 11:30 a.m. ! So is my child's hand really okay, did he really do his job, I think not on both, but he had better hope that her hand is fine because I will be reporting this to the TN Dept of Health Related Board !! If her hand is not okay ! more

Dr Johnston became my daughters doctor straight from birth. 5 weeks later my daughter was running a 104 degree fever. I brought her in and Dr Johnston got a urine culture started and advised Vanderbilt that she thought it was an E Coli infection and when they admitted her, immediatly started treating it as such. 4 days later the culture proved Dr Johnston correct. Thanks to her I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter. If Dr Johnston haadnt been so on the ball, my daughter could have died. \r In addition, she takes the time to get to know the children and the families and does a great job of interacting with everyone. \r I wish she could be My doctor! Dr. Johnston has been our pediatrician for our two girls for the past 5 years. She listens to the parents and is attuned to the details. She takes time and listens to the girls and makes them feel important and heard. She returns the call and goes the extra mile as a doctor. I truly appreciate her and all that she does for my children and us. Pros: service more

Dr. Johnston was my pediatrician growing up. Now, she is my daughter's. She is caring and the most accurate physician I have ever seen. She is an absolutely remarkable doctor and, in fact, treated me until I was 22...when I finally decided I was a little old to be going to a pediatrician. You just won't find a doctor who cares about their patients as she does. She truly loves what she does and it shows each time we see her. more

Dr. Johnston has gone out of her way in so many instances with our children. With Chloe, we had an extended stay at Vanderbilt: Dr Johnston showed up with flowers during one visit and has always had true compassion for our kids. She really listens to the parents and asks questions to pin point causes. We feel very blessed to have her as our children's doctor! more
