Skip Les Schwab , buy your tires online and have these guys mount them. I just called them to install Upper Control Arms for my GMC Sierra 2500HD Diesel. Guys they do it all !! more

I am capable of doing work on all of my vehicles myself, and it's only been in the last few years that I have let anyone else touch them. I got to know the guys down at Wilderness Auto Service, and they have proven to me that they know what they are doing. I trust them to do a good job on both my company and personal vehicles. I have been going to Wilderness for about four years, and they haven't messed up a thing. They have done a lot of different work for me, including serious repairs on my company vehicles. They redid the rear end on one, and have fixed the air conditioning on several. That's something to be said for a gas station, that they have people who actually know how to work on air conditioning correctly. I have a background in the field, and can tell in about two sentences if someone knows what they are doing, and Wilderness does. Not only does Wilderness Auto do good work, but they also give a lot back to the community. They are know for treating people well. I probably spend about four thousand to five thousand dollars a month there because I'm an auto dealer and I bring all of my cars there. They are convenient and provide good service. I know Eric's father very well, that's why I used Wilderness Auto Service the first time. I stayed because of how good they are. I've gone to other local auto shops, but they've done the better job for me, and I've never had a problem in the three to four years I've been going there. Eric is great, also Glenn the Service Manager is really great too. They have flat out refused things that I thought or had been told by other shops needed replacing, making them about as honest as they get! We have three cars in the family, mine, my wife's and our daughter's. We get them regularly serviced there. We all feel that the shop is competent, fair and honest. I worked for the city of Maple Valley in the early 2000s and that's when I took all my cars to Wilderness Auto Service, and they did great work. It was proximity initially, but now I drive 20 miles to get my cars worked on by them. The excellent service keeps me coming back, and I know the family, his mom and his dad. They just treat me well. I never had a problem, the staff is very personable, and I feel like I'm part of the family, so to speak. They do everything. They do major engine repair, oil changes, the fluid changes. They even offer gas and have put a lift kit on my truck. They've worked on my cars, and I've never had a problem. more

I have been using Wilderness Auto Service for 7 or 8 years. They are very good about scheduling appointments, and I can always get in when I need my vehicle serviced. Also, they are very good about checking with me before doing any additional repairs they might encounter. And, I think their pricing is competitive. In general, they are just friendly and their customer service is pretty good. I have mostly gone to them for maintenance work but I also had them do some minor engine work. I had the alternator replaced and they did some trouble-shooting on an electrical problem. I think they are very knowledgeable and I really appreciate it that if they run into something outside of their expertise, they will refer me elsewhere. That has only happened once, but they recommended I go elsewhere as opposed to just doing something they were not as prepared to do. I appreciated that. more

My family has been using Wilderness Auto Service for 30 plus years, since Eric's father ran it. Multiple family members take their vehicles into them. When it is the case that a part is bad, or something goes wrong several months later, they have immediately brought it back. They replaced the part at absolutely no charge and even did a couple of extra services as an apology. They are extremely professional and cleanly. Wilderness Auto Service will get you in as soon as humanly possible. They stay late to finish the job, but they never make you feel as though they are doing too much for you. The follow through is great, and they go above and beyond for their customers. If you have to wait, they often offer a complimentary beverage from their store. They keep in in constant contact, and if they have to do anything unexpected they let you know. I now travel 3 hours to get to Wilderness Auto Service. We used to live close, but even though we moved, we continue to use them. I am on an island, so I have to take the ferry. I travel because of their service. They are very, very good. more
