Great Chinese 5/24/2006

Believe it or not, this little Chinese place is one of the best, casual places for a date (in my opinion). There are lots of tables-for-two here and the dim lighting sets the perfect romantic background. The food here is really good too and they serve a really authentic Chinese meal here. The service is prompt and quick as well. And the prices are so reasonable too. If you really want to be adventerous, try their duck. It is actually very tasty. more

Pleasing Chinese Food and Enjoyable Sushi 5/12/2006

I find Chen's a wonderful option to sit with friends and enjoy sushi and traditional Chinese food. In my experience, ordering a number of dishes and having a family style Chinese dinner is most delightful. I have tried a number of their dishes and have yet to be disappointed. I also really like their sushi, fresh and presented in a pleasant fashion. more

Sushi and the Classics 3/9/2006

Chen's is well-known as a great Chinese/sushi takeout, but it's also a great place to sit down and have a meal with friends. They have a standard restaurant dining room, but they also have more intimate environs, great for informal group get-togethers. They have a great variety of sushi. Everything on the menu is very well explained, so if you're not familiar with the different varieties of sushi, or you forget what exactly is in kung pao pork, no worries! more

Fantastic Chinese Delivery in Wrigleyville 5/10/2005

This might come as a surprise to some, but Wrigleyville is home to one of the finest Chinese take-out/delivery places on the North side. My wife and I order in from there at least once a week and are never satisfied. Some of our favorites are the Soong, steamed vegetable dumplings, and the General Tsao's Chicken. Fantastic! more
