I brought my daughter's ferret in when she suddenly became lethargic and could hardly move. We had no idea what was going on but the staff was very quick to show their concern and...

Worst

The boarding staff is very friendly and boarding rates are great. However....the cost for an exam, shots, etc are way too expensive!

I love this place. I took my pup in two days after getting him from a breeder and found out he had parvo. Dr. Stacy told me what the expenses would be for his one week stay and that they usually charge half down. When I told her I could only put a certain amount down they agreed to work with me happily so that my pup had the chance to live. Words cannot express how good that made me feel that I didn't have to give my new puppy a death sentence. Not only did they help me but my roommate took her dog to have a parvo vaccination later that day and they charged her 25 dollars rather than 80. These people love animals and care about their customers and as far as I am concerned this is where my pup will always go. Thank you Chenal Valley! more

I drive from Sherwood to Chenal Valley Vet. Even tho there are plenty of vets so much closer if I should need to get my pets to the vet fast - and with the price of gas it sure would be better on the budget. So why do I go to Chenal Valley Animal Hospital???? Because their staff is AWEsome and I just love Dr. Kim & Dr. Stacy! If I was still going to my old vet in Sherwood, I would have a dead dog. Chenal Valley saved my dog's life. They were very compassionate and you can tell that they love animals and love the people who love their pets. THAT is something you will NOT find in Sherwood or NLR. This is my vet for the life of my dogs and any pets in my future. more

too many expensive extras 8/7/2009

I think this vet does a great job if you have an ill dog, one with odd health conditions, etc. However, I have a perfectly healthy dog and was shocked to find that tons or tests and shots were required. Do I really need an annual checkup and two different ""kennel cough"" vaccines? No. Pros: very caring Cons: don't care about your money more
