Kenzie was stuck. Her tumbling and cheer skills had been at the same level for quite some time. Then, she joined a competitive cheer team at Cheer Station. Under the direction of the exceptional Cheer Station coaches, my daughter's skills advanced two levels in one year. The coaches are positive and professional, always encouraging the athletes to compete at the top of their skill level. The trophies, National, and World titles that blanket the walls of the gym are only part of what makes Cheer Station so great... it's the owners and coaches who make Cheer Station simply the best. This place has moved from Research to this dilapidated old warehouse in the industrial district behind Main Event. The building is not climate controlled and instead they have portable A/C heater things that barely keep the temps tolerable for the athletes, and not at all for the parents. But they aren't really interested in parents watching anyways. There are only 10 seats for parents to watch their kids and they are all broken. There are 40-60 girls there at once when they have both teams and classes going at once in the evenings with all the parents vying to watch their kids by crowding on a rickety staircase for an hour and a half. Some nights they tell the parents they can't watch at all because they are ""distracting"" the girls. Unfortunately I heard the male coaches CURSING at the girls in an inappropriate manner (some of the girls are 8!) and I am shocked how many parents allow these guys to talk to their girls like this. We didn't do teams, we were only in classes, but I know I would never let her be on a team there so no reason to stay, we left. Find a place that treats your kids with respect. It doesn't matter if they're the best if they are damaging the self esteem of young ladies in the process and giving them the idea that it's ok for older men to talk to them that way. more

I simply love this place. They have helped my daughter become more confident and the best that she can be. They are THE only gym that I would recommend in the Austin area. I find the coaches to have the perfect balance of compassion and firmness. Cheer station is a really good gym! They are very nice but hardworking. Yes, they have tooken teams to worlds and so has austin cheer facory. Cheer Station is a very possitive place for kids and teens to cheer competitivly. They don't push you too hard but they encourage you to be a hardworker. Cheer Station is the best all-star cheerleading program in Austin with 219 national champion titles and counting. Their 18 years of experience, amazing staff, and family atmosphere are what make them the best. They push the kids and allow them to compete at their skill level and don't make them compete at lower levels. Life lessons, team work, and strive for excellence is the focus. They are the only cheer gym in Austin to have a team going to Worlds and actually have 2 going there.
