The food was very very good. There have been better, but the quality could hold its own against any equally priced restaurant. My partner and I both went for the 4 course prix fixe menu at $35 and were delighted with every dish. The meal started with a complementary salmon tartar which was incredibly fresh and well seasoned, the crab cake appetizer was brilliant and the Filet Mignon was to die for. Oh, and I recommend the chocolate cake. The owner was incredibly friendly. On the way out, we happened to leave when he was in the kitchen, and were pleasantly startled to find him chasing after us with a warm parting adieu. It felt like we were leaving our dear French family with three others waving from the doorway and inviting us to come again. It’s true that it’s loud because of its cozy size but it’s still romantic.
