Nov 2009, my cat got sick and we brought him to Chanhassen Veterinary Clinic. At the first visit, we signed a paper with the estimate about 350.00. And they said they will contact us next day and let us know the status. Next day, they didn't call, and we called several times and finally the vet said they needed to keep the cat one more day. The day after, still they didn't call by the end of the day. I called and didnt get a straight answer. I have to make my husband to call them. Still it took him call them twice and finally told us that the cat was not well and the bill was over $1000. We took the cat back the day after. Tthe second day after we brought the cat home, we had to bring him to the emergency clinic and put him down. That was about $200.00. \r \r How do I feel about this clinic? I love this clinic and staff. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer things to me that are best for my pet and situation. Complete care. more

I don't know if this is a good Vet Clinic -and frankly- I'll never find out. We moved here recently with my almost 2 year old dog. I went to the groomer portion of the clinic and asked for a consultation because I've never groomed a dog before. The lady behind the counter had an attitude; wouldn't answer my questions directly and was insulting. She treated me like a "pest' even though I was a potential client for her and the Vet clinic. No thanks! I only live 3 blocks from the groomer, but you couldn't pay me to go there-I'll drive further for better customer service. more

They are very kind to your animals! They send email reminders for check-ups and for your animal's 'birthday!' They are a little more expensive, but the care is excellent! more

I am the proud 'care giver' of three wonderful cats. My Charlie is 17 and has been diabetic since 12... He's doing great. My Spunky is 11 and is Hyper-T . He too, is doing great. Last fall we adopted Stevie (also diabetic)..He required only a few shots over a ten day time span, and is now diet controlled diabetic. (We're not sure how old Stevie is).. The doctors and staff at this clinic know what they're doing. They are great with my boys and wonderful with my husband and me. They are current on latest treatments and ideas. I had a vet open up two blocks away... I'll drive to Chan. more

We have used this clinic for many years for our dog, cats and my son's dog. Our dog had extensive medical issues and they helped us to enjoy 16 years of love with Bo. My son who is a Marine left his 150lb American Bulldog with us and they have been fantastic with him. They have his allergies under control, helped when he had a severe gastric issues & deal well with him. We moved and still our pets to this clinic even though there are many closer to us now. Great staff. I TRUST THEM COMPLETELY!!! PROS: picture of pets on their chart, friendly staff, take walk ins, good hours CONS: None more

THEY DISPENSED MEDICATION THAT EXPIRED BEFORE I USED IT. She's now on "fresh" meds and was nearly pain-free after just a few hours. PROS: Right now I'm too angry to see any positives. CONS: Disorganization at best, incompetence at worst. more
