Changes Hair Salon

I have been getting my hair cut by Gwen for over 10 years (probably 15 years) and now she takes care of my daughters too! We love going to Changes... very family friendly and wonderful staff. I recently discovered the addition of massage there by Jeff Boyd. Being in dire need of a massage, I gave him a try. I will DEFINITELY go back! Great massage, great price! Highly recommend! more

I have been going to Deborah Johnson at Changes for over 10 years. She is the first stylist I have ever stayed with longer than 6 months. She is very nice and always tries very hard to accommodate my needs and always does! I would never think about going to another stylist or salon. Everyone at changes is super nice! I've been going to Changes for soooo many years and I will never go to another salon. I walk in and as soon as I'm in, the receptionist, the other stylists, and Gwen, my hair styllist are all smiles and greeting me like they are all truly my friends. I have been able to describe EXACTLY what I wanted and Gwen would work with me to make sure it fit my face, my color matched my skin tone... she would be honest and this is my ultimate recommendation... when I walked out of Changes with my new hair color and cut, I didn't comb it... I SWEAR... I went right out for the evening and didn't want to CHANGE a thing!! Please try it... I wish I could convince you.. but when you walk in you will see. If you want the best cut and color in Nashville you must make an appointment to see Will Griffin. I have been a loyal client of Will's for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. Not only do I get a great cut and color but I get a friend and someone who makes me laugh. Changes Salon has a fabulous addition to it's staff. more

Will has moved from Gordon & Company Salon, to Changes Salon he's been cutting my hair for 10 years+ and has done a excellent job. If anybody needs a very up to date stylist, I recomend Will Griffin for his cutting ability and color expertise. more

If you are looking for a fun and talented stylist- especially for blondes- Changes is the place and Amy is your stylist! I have been in Nashville for 10 years now and I visited several high end salon in town yet to find a salon that is comparable to the salons from my hometown of Miami- both in style and in talent. My hair was blonde up until about 7 years ago when it began to get very dark. I have tried several different hair colors, but have always felt most comfortable and the best as a blonde. The problem is, I haven't been able to find anyone to successfully transform my now medium brown/blonde hair to that glamorous, yet natural blonde that you see all the time in magazines and the way you picture it to be. I would either be brassy, tiger-striped, chunky, uneven, etc. I always gave the stylist a few chances and the benefit of the doubt to ""get it right"", but always found myself moving on to yet another salon. About 3 years ago I began going to Amy Sadler when she was at Elan Salon and she gave me the hair I have been searching for (and paying an arm and leg in the attempt) for years now! She is now at Changes Salon which is a very personable and classy salon in Green Hills. She is very talented and knows what she is doing. She spent time getting to know me and LISTENED to what I wanted. Even with the cut she did exactly what I was asking, but still gave me her expert opinion. I have followed and plan to always follow Amy wherever she goes and tell everyone about her. I feel great about myself and am always satifsfied when I leave. Best of all, I left with my dignity that I didn't spend my whole week's paycheck on my hair! She has VERY reasonable prices. I have paid 4 times that much and hadn't gotten near what I asked for. if u guys havent been in changes in a while, my has it changed!!! the interior of this salon is more classy than any salon up and down hillsboro pike!!! The staff was as sweet and helpful as could be and i left with a smile from ear to ear! Gwen Rippy is the owner of this fabulous establishment and she has kept it a true blue salon. i find more and more of my friends changing to Changes because of the environment. No snotty rude women staring u down. there is a fresh new stylist named Amy thats started at changes in april. she's so sweet and does the best blonde color i have seen! you newbys should really check this spot out. you will be more than satisfied!!! I started going to Changes about 10 years ago. The staff there is like one big family. They made me feel like I was at home. The atmosphere was very relaxed, which made me feel very comfortable. I had highlights and a haircut, and walked out of there looking fabulous. I had many complements on my hair after walking out of there! They have competitive prices on both their services and their products, and they offer just about anything you would like to have done in a typical salon. I HIGHLY recommend going to Changes. First of all, Changes has had a major makeover and it is looking fabulous in there! But the star of the show is their new stylist Amy Sadler who recently joined the staff when Elysium closed.
