Amazing... Definitely go there! 11/25/2010

This salon is absolutely incredible. I have been there several times now and they have a few new people on their staff and it is great. I used to go there a few years ago and i can see why some people may have thought it was a snotty atmosphere, but not anymore! The new owner they have there has been running the place for a few years now and she is great. The women who work there are professional and they do treat everyone like royalty! Their prices may be high but so are their services. It is definitely worth every cent. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks when you first come in, converse with everyone, and try to make everyone as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a relaxing day at the salon/spa! more

Fabulous Day 11/2/2010

While on business in Mechanicsburg, I found myself with a few extra hours before I had to return to my home in NJ. Changes was highly recommended to me and WOW, were they right! From the moment I stepped into the salon, I felt absolute peace, relaxation, and luxury. I was greeted at the Front Desk with a sincere smile and a warm welcome. The staff were all VERY friendly and made me feel like I was the only one in there that day, even though it was an EXTREMELY busy Friday afternoon. My facial was to die for and the massage was incredible. I also had a lovely manicure and pedicure. I'd highly recommend Changes and am grateful for the ""Royal Treatment"" I received, truly!!!! more

Wonderful Experience 11/1/2010

I go up to visit relatives in the Mechanicsburg area frequently. I really needed to get my hair colored for a party and my cousin recommended Anne at Changes Salon and Day Spa. Anne gave me great suggestions for my color. I was a litlle nervous about changing my color but I was so happy she talked me in to it. I looked great for the party and received so many compliments. TOP NOTCH 10/31/2010

A friend of mine recommended going to Changes and I booked a day at the Spa with facial, manicure, pedicure, etc. She told me it was a high caliber classy spa and she was right. It is a beautiful place with state-of-the-art in all the areas. The staff was very professional and skilled and a would highly recommend this establishment to all I know. I also got hair and makeup done as my husband and I were going out on the town and boy did I feel great- HIghly recommend this first class establishment!!!!! more

I DROPPED MY DAUGHTER OFF AT HERSHEY PARK AND WAS DYING TO GET SOME SPA SERVICES DONE. I TRIED HOTEL HERSHEY BUT IT WASI ALL FLUFF AND NO SUBSTANCE SO I HAD HEARD ABOUT THIS SALON AND SPA CALLED CHANGES THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE IN NJ more

Eww! 8/2/2010

I went to this salon 3 times for a cut and style, and even though I was happy with my cut I was repulsed by the atmosphere. Let me explain. Each time I went back to the salon area, there was a definite odor of....""female uncleanliness""? I wasnt sure what the smell was at first, but on the second visit I was able to put my finger on it....rotten, stanky va-jay-jay. On my third visit, I went to use the rest room, and the stench hit me in the face like a ton of bricks. I'm torn because while I am happy with my hair, I nearly gag everytime I'm in there! I think the girls who work there need some lessons in feminine hygiene, and a few bottles of Massengil in the rest room. Pros: open 7 days a week Cons: overpriced, rude staff, unprofessional, lousy music more

What a joke 6/13/2010

I chose this salon because they sell Bumble and Bumble products, which is usually a sign of a good salon, but when it comes to style and class, Changes falls way short. Sure its a good salon if your idea of high style is a Jennifer Aniston cut from 1994, but dont expect anything trendy or cool. The stylists need help dressing as well, they look like they just returned from dancing at Amateur Night at a local strip club. My stylist was an older woman who was wearing a skirt too short for even a woman half her age, complete with hooker boots. The decor is also very tacky; it looks like it was picked out of the clearance rack at a Pier One. Changes reminds me of that one girl in school who tried just a little too hard to be cool and hip, but never quite pulled it off. Pros: ample parking Cons: everything else more

I think they do a great job My hair has always looked great I tried other salons and have had bad cuts and color I am now going back to this salon because they can cut hair and colorI agree that the front desk isn't the best. They are somewhat snobby more

I would not recommend 11/12/2007

I would not recommend this salon, as I was very clear to the type of short hair cut I wanted. But the stylist had her own opinion of how it should be. Frankly, they don't listen to you. I too, wanted a refund, terrible waste of money and horrible hair cut.\r \r \r \r egm more

Over priced and very unfriendly and snobby staff - I couldn't believe how rude and evasive they were to customers, obviously no one there has ever taken a business class. If you can get past that, the facials are relaxing depending on who you get but the massages are not worth your money - I felt like asking for a refund. more

this salon is great if you want to spend an extreme amount of money with a very snotty atmosphere. It is great to have the services they offer, however; they really need to work on there personality skills and be a little more down to earth. this is mechanicsburg not beverly hills. Simply the Best!! 11/10/2005

Changes Salon & Day Spa are simply the best around!! They are a little pricey, but they are definitely worth every penny. They treat you like royalty everytime! I highly recommend them for all of your salon and spa needs. They even offer Gift Certificates and gift packages. My husband had gotten me the Mother to Be Package for Valentine's Day and I felt so good after leaving from there. It included a full body massage, a pedicure and manicure. I have also had my hair cut while I was there. If I could afford to go there every month I would! more

not a big fan 11/5/2005

I tried this place for about a year. I got past the rather rude and snobby staff and started to enjoy myself. I did have issues with the hair stylist who chopped off way more hair than I agreed to. I did complain and was told to come in and let her fix it. I was not real happy with that response, considering the amount of money I had spent there over the past year. This is a good place if you like having stylists tell you what needs done. more
