If not for the McMenamins, this would be the best movie house in Portland. They don't serve beer or have couches, but they have easily the steepest stadium seating in town. Their popcorn is good and uses actual butter (Regal uses "popcorn flavor"...grease) and their concessions are abundant. There's an elevator that takes you to the upper level of the main auditoriums, great for those who are in wheelchairs and don't want to sit down front. It's the only truly THX certified theater in town (everyone has THX movies, but not the official certification.)
