Dr. Hanser is wonderful with animals and an excellant vet. She saved my Golden's life and limb. He had fibrosarcoma, a very small red pimple on his chest. She did a biopsy and it came out mixed results probably because the sample was so small (the size of a small pimple). She did the surgery to remove it and ended up taking a large area deep into the muscle. The stitches were about 5" long. You can't even see it now. It's been 5 years and he is cancer free. She did a great job. She seems a little costly but she knows what she is doing! I trust her to do a great job. more

Very Clean Place. 2/6/2008

The doctor is very good with all my animals. My dogs , cats and my family really like Central Ave Animal Clinic. We went to a couple of vets in Ventura, did not get the good and personal service like we did at Central Ave Animal Clinic. more

Amazing 1/21/2008

Trully an amazing clinic. The vet is so nice and treats my pets like her own. The staff is top notch and treats my pets like family. While the prices may seem high, this hospital lets you know up front what the costs will be instead of giving you a low initial estimate and then charging you extra "hidden" charges. The best care you can ask for!!!! more

I'm not too sure about this one... 9/4/2006

This vet is very nice. She spends a lot of time with the animals. She has good interpersonal skills. The office is *very* clean. Her staff is also fantastic. However, she is *extremely* expensive on some procedures, like teeth cleaning (more than twice the normal price). I'm not too sure what to think about this one. PROS: Very clean office, nice vet, nice staff. CONS: Expensive. more

Best Vet in Ventura County 3/19/2006

This clinic is not your typical clinic. When you walk in you are immedialtely acknowledged as family. You leave your animal there with peace of mind knowing that it is recieving the best care possible. The clinic is always clean but doesn't fell instituional. From the office staff to the vet I feel at ease and more importantly so does my animal. I cannot say enough about this facility and would HIGHLY recommend any animal owner in Ventura county to try them out! more
