Always The Best! 8/4/2011

I have known Drs Schwartz and Solomon for over 20 years. They have taken care of My Ginger, My Prince and now. My Meggie. Dr, Schwartz was Prince's primary Vet and Prince lived to 21+ years. Dr. Solomon saved Meggie who came down with parvo at 11 weeks old. She is a healthy and beautiful 5 yr old, now. The other Vets, Technicians and Reception Staff are terrific as well. I will continue to be grateful for all they do and will continue to recommend their services to others. more

Awesome Vets 3/24/2010

I have been bringing my boxer here for over a year and my experience has been much better than previous vets. They take care of all my dogs needs in a fair and timely fashion. Pros: Great service, friendly, knowledgable, reasonable more

Beware of the Bad Vet!!! 10/18/2009

I have been seeing Dr. Salomon with my dog for about three years. During that time I have been in the office at least twice a year for regular check ups, allergy issues, etc. Every check up time, I would walk out with a $500 worth of tests. However, if I didn't ask, my dogs ears and sacks around his tail would never get cleaned. Little did I know or I would have asked about that too, his teeth were not looked at. Just recently, I noticed that a few teeth in front got loose. I went to the dental Vet and found out my dog had a periodontal disease that must have been brewing for at least 5 years! It went unnoticed all this time. My poor little doggy is after the surgery now where he had 14!!!!!!!! teeth removed and I had $2000 removed from my bank account, of course. Needless to say, I am VERY ANGRY with Dr. Solomon and his quick check up routine that left my dog, half into his life, without most important teeth. Shame on you Dr. Solomon! I feel like his routine is more about charging for services and tests than about careful care of the pet. Beware of the Bad Vet! more

Dr. Jackson Is The Best! 3/16/2009

Recently I was told that my little 3.5 lb maltese had glaucoma in one eye. It was devastating as the alternatives for treatment are not great and very expensive. Dr. Jackson offered me not only all of the options for treatment, but was incredibly kind, empathic and sincere. Within a couple of days I had decided upon surgical treatment (with Dr. Jackson as the surgeon). As upsetting as it was, I had complete confidence in Dr. Jackson and her abiltiy to handle my dog with the utmost of care. In fact, she called me in the middle of surgery because she had found what may have been a growth. Fortunately it was not and the surgery appears to be a success. My little dog was wagging her tail within hours and I have every reason to believe she'll be okay. Since her surgery a week ago Dr. Jackson has called me almost every day to see how she is. They're not just ""follow up"" calls, but calls of genuine concern. The CVC is a wonderful facility with wonderful doctors and techs, but Dr. Jackson is Bailey's special doctor. Pros: Caring, Sincere more

Worth Every Penny for My Pets 8/28/2008

Ok, I know that Center for Veterinary Care is busy most times, and is a little expensive, but the care that my pets received is well worth it. When you have pets, they are like your children, so I say, send them to the best, which is what CVC is. Contrary to the complaints in some of the reviews, I could see the frustration, but when all is said and done, my pets are healthy. CVC has done everything right by me and my pets. Thank you CVC! Pros: Care, Confidence in My Pet's Doctors more

late night emergency - they saved the day! 6/24/2007

We had a late Sunday night emergency with our cat and after googling 24 hour vets and finding them, despite not being a current patient, they proceeded to calmly talk us through the likely scenario and save us not only the cost of a visit as well as the problem of further pissing off an already stressed cat -- as well as saved our quickly exiting sanity. Cat is now fine and wide awake. We are now tired and going to bed. THANK YOU!! Pros: 24 hour service!! more

Caring 4/25/2007

We brought our sick cat in and Dr. Solomon was very pleasant and caring. 3 days later her condition got worse and we brought her back in. Dr. Solomon after only meeting us once had to give us the terrible news. He was beyond polite and understanding. He explained her condition, in terms we would understand, and gave us the reality of her situation, which was much apperciated. We have a healthy cat at home and wouldnt think twice about bringing her here. Pros: Open weekends, Easy to get appointments, understanding staff Cons: none to speak of more

CVC - excellent care 1/15/2007

I've dealt with the CVC for over 15 years and can only praise all the doctors, technicians and staff for their skill, care and kindness. I have dealt with all members of the team and especially with Dr. Solomon. I recommend the CVC to all my friends and never have heard any complaints. Pros: Excellent vet. care, 24 hour techs on staff, rapid emergency care response Cons: steps leading into office more

Dr. Schwartz is the best! 3/27/2006

I have 2 shih tzus and Dr. Schwartz is the most caring veterinarian that I have come across. Although his services are expensive, the dedication he shows to his patients is worth every penny. He explains the problems and the treatments without talking down to anyone and he is always quick to return calls. I always know that my pets are in the best hands. Pros: extremely caring, quick responses, 24-hour care Cons: very expensive more

Caring, trustworthy vet 2/20/2006

Dr. Schwartz has been wonderful regarding the care of my cat, who has multiple health problems. I called the office early one morning because of a bad reaction to new medication and he called me back within 20 minutes, to make sure he spoke to me before I left for work. The staff is incredibly busy, but accomodating and professional. Lately, their computer system crashed and the staff has done everything to rectify the situation and continue to perform professionally despite the added work. I feel completely confident in the medical advice I am given and would highly recommend this practice. Pros: professional, caring, knowledgable Cons: expensive, busy more

Bad experience every time 6/9/2005

I keep thinking that the poor manner the Vet and his staff treat me are due to the fact that they are too busy. They are rude, condecending, do not answer questions or return calls. They are VERY expensive! Cons: Expensive, Rude, No follow up more
