Celtic Craft Center-Kiltmakers

In September of 2008, I ordered a kilt from this company at one of the Colorado festivals. They tried for Thanksgiving but promised I'd have it by Christmas. It never arrived and they never responded to phone calls or emails. In February 2009, I finally got my money back from my credit card company, but never had any response at all from Celtic Craft Center. It's really too bad, their products were lovely. The first weekend of June in 2007 my husband and I went to the Texas Highland Games. We were very pleased with the examples of the fine kilts that were handmade by those at Celtic Craft Centre. I decided to order a beautiful silk 5 knot sash in my family's tartan. I was informed it may take approximately 4 months to make due to the fact that the sash would be made of silk and the looms needed to be altered. I was excited for the new beautiful sash, was under the impression that I would be receiving one of the best, and was willing to wait.\r \r I started getting concerned about my order at the 4-5 month mark and wrote to Celtic Craft Center. They called me back and assured me I would receive my sash within a few weeks. This was the consistent message I received until approximately May of 2008. Now I am not receiving replies to my inquiries and have still not received my order.\r \r I paid $250.00, cash, for sash and fear the only thing I will have to show for it are empty promises and frustration. \r \r It is now September of 2008 (15 months later) and I have not received my sash.\r \r If I ever do receive my sash I will make sure to post the date it is received in order to bring my review up to date and provide an accurate picture of how long it took me to receive my order.\r \r Pros: N/A at this time Cons: order paid for but never received. more

You guys are the BEST, I had my measurements taken at the San Francisco shop about 4 years ago, I called these guys up in Jan of this year to order my second kilt, they had records of my first kilt !! I was impressed. i know they moved to Palm Springs because I came upon their new shop and again very impressed. I recommend these guys because they only have the best items all from Scotland. All their kilts are handmade by them in Scotland ! and they are all made from 8 yards plaid. Mine fits to perfection, I love it. Check this out .....these guys give a lifetime guarentee with their kilts.... I will continue to recommend you guys, but you got tell tell everyone of your new shop guys, its the best.
