Last week I dropped my Evo and the screen cracked into many pieces. The phone still worked perfect so I called to see if they could repair it. They said yes and ordered the part (which I paid for over the phone with a CC). They told me it would take 2 business days. I ordered it on a Thursday and the following Thursday I received a call that it was in and I could come and the procedure takes an hour. So I was there on Saturday morning when the store opened at 11. The kid behind the counter said they were too busy that they wouldn't be able to do it that day but I could leave my phone and they would call me when it was done (they are closed on Sundays). I told him I was called and told to bring it in and it would take an hour and that I had traveled from Clermont to do so. He said he would see what he could do and came back about 5 minutes later and said he would do it but it would take more like an hour and a half. I said that would be fine. 3 hours later he came out and told me that they couldn't get the backlight on anymore so the phone was useless until they replaced it and of course, it wasn't in stock. I was livid because the phone worked perfectly when I brought it in other than the screen being cracked. I use the phone for a million things including work and they were saying I would be out a phone until at least Wednesday. I asked to speak to the owner. They called him and he came right into the store and said he was going to look at it and if not they would set me up with a nice loaner phone until they got it fixed. Thankfully he checked it out and they had done something wrong to it and he fixed it. It was really such a relief. He then asked me if I needed any other work done because he would hook me up because of the wait and hassle. I told him my daughters Ipod touch screen was cracked too and he said to bring it in and he would do it for 60 rather than 100...but reading the previous review, that is not really a hookup..and not worth it to us to fix as it still works fine too. They did do what I asked them to do but just not in the time they told me (a week, not 2 business days to arrive and 3 hours to fix, not 1). If I were to need help again I would try the Altamonte store I think.
