No cause to order Celebre. Whoever is rating this place 5 stars is either trolling, lying or extremely drunk. Ordered a pizza, it was soggy, the cheese tasted odd, the sauce was not good. The edges of the pizza were burned, not sure how that's possible with it being soggy at the same time, but who knows. Delivery guy was nice, chicken fingers were slightly above average. more

Hands down, the best pizza in Philadelphia! We got a large with peppers, mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni and it was delightful! Perfect dough (im a thin crust girl)! It wasnt too thick like a pan pizza but had enough that it wasnt anywhere near flimsy! All the toppings were fresh and it was a symphony of flavors in my mouth! I cant wait to get it again! My boyfriend finally took me after raving about! He didnt let me down, and neither did celebre's! Keep it up! Pros: Everything Cons: I live in west philly, so thats a personal problem! If it were closer i'd eat it all the time more

Truly exceptional pizza and service! 4/10/2008

We love Celebre's!! I've actually never eaten in, but for pickup or delivery, they rock! Pizzas are typically ready to be picked up within 15 minutes and delivery is usually only 30 minutes. They're always friendly over the phone--something most places in Philly lack!!! The pizzas are always perfectly delicious. We couldn't ask for more, and after sampling most of the pizza South Philly has to offer, we will never go anywhere else again! Pros: Everything is great! Cons: No cons at all! more

Best Pizza anywhere 8/9/2007

This place has the best of everything. Pizza,stromboli, salad, sandwiches and service. I have been going here for many years and everything is great. The only drawback is my favorite cashier is no longer there. There used to be a dreamy cashier there on Friday nights who is no longer there. Hope to get someone just as hot to go along with the best food. more

No exaggeration, this is the best pizza and stromboli in the city 4/15/2007

Look at the other reviews, these people don't lie. I've been going to Celebre's for about two decades and the quality never falters one bit. Not only is the pizza the best in the city, but the strombolis are also elite. If you're veggie then order the spinach & tomato stromboli, I still don't think it's on the menu but my family's been getting it for years and it is simply awesome. If you're looking for something with meat then go for the VIP which is equally great. The pizza is just perfect in all areas- sauce, cheese, and dough, it doesn't get any better. The sandwiches are very good as well. You can't go wrong with Celebre's, there's ample parking, the service is great, the menu is reasonable and the food is without peer. more

We had the Pizzaz Pizza, first time ever had a pizza w/american cheese and sliced tomatoes and it was a lot better than we thought it could be. We will definitely go back again and try their original sauce and mozzarella pie. more

When I was just a Child of 3-6 years old we use to go to Celebre Pizza, there's nothing like it in the world!... Although i use to try and get my little sister to eat the dried hot peppers I have unbelievable memories of that place. My Dad being from the Island of South Philly ended up in the Navy we travelled around the word and the taste of Celbres Pizza will never leave my mouth!!! We had settled in South Jersey when I was a kid of 10-17 and also visited Celebres with our trips to the City. Although I've move clear across the world to Hawaii and am now 47 the taste of Celbres will be with me always. I've given up eating pizza until one day when i return to the Great City of Philly and of course Celebres Pizza. Please stay strong and in business until I return. Pros: Best Pizza in the world! Cons: They should open one up in Hawaii more

Best Pizza in South Philly!!! 12/29/2005

Pizzaz Pizza is off the board. Also, the VIP strombolli is incredible. Once you eat Celebres Pizza or strombolli, you will never eat pizza anywhere else. more
