Finally, a Good Theater in South Lansing 9/28/2005

Celebration Cinema is one of the best things to happen to this area. I was so tired of other places having the big screens, powerful sound systems, and stadium seatings. FInally, someone got smart and built one. The staff is usually friendly. They helped me out with some lost and found once. The prices are a little higher than the other places, but well worth it. more

Awesome AND has Imax 8/19/2005

Celebration Cinema is a great local theatre. Check out the new Imax screen for a truly AMAZING experience. This theatre has large, well appointed theatres with (as they call it) stadium style seating, large screens, and updated sound systems. The concessions are good as well, and you can put your own butter on your popcorn. Refills on drinks are complimentary. In short, if I am in the area, this is 'the' place I will go to see a movie. more

Movie Theatre 8/14/2005

In Lansing Michigan there is a great movie theater called Celebration Cinema. It has a ton of different theaters so it's a guarantee that the movie you are looking for is there. In addition, there is also an IMax theater which is extremely cool. However, just like regular movie theaters it isn't very cheap to go there. It usually costs around 7 dollars per ticket. Its a great place to take the kids for a movie. more

Lansing’s Gigantic Mega Movie Theater 7/26/2005

Celebration Cinema is Mid-Michigan’s largest movie theater with somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 screens. Being Lansing’s premier movie theater, you get all the bells and whistles here, such as stadium seating, Dolby Digital sound and Tempur-Pedic chairs. I suppose if Tempur-Pedic is good enough for Swiss astronaut beds, its good enough for my rump. It is a very popular theater and it is not uncommon for shows to sell out on opening nights. However, the theater does allow you to purchase tickets online and pick them up through kiosks at the theater, which is a very nice feature. With so many screens, I wish they would dedicate one or two to showing less popular, independent films, but that’s one of my few gripes with this theather. more

Stadium Seating Movie Experience! 7/24/2005

Until NCG Cinemas opened in East Lansing, Celebration Cinemas was the only theatre in Lansing that I know of that has Stadium Seating and a great movie lovers atmosphere. Located just off I-96 in Lansing, the Michigan-based Celebration Cinemas is huge ... and has a recently-added IMAX Theater! Like any theater, Celebration has a full snack bar for your buttery popcorn fix, and they even have an arcade for the kids. For convenience, you can purchase your tickets ahead of time online to avoid long lines once you arrive. Parking is plentyful, and the theater is located near several restaurants, including Hooters and a Texas BBQ. A great theater, indeed! more
