This is absolutely the worst experience I've had with a Dentist office in my entire 40+ years of going to a Dentist. I recently moved to this area, and used my insurance provider to find a Dentist. When I called at the beginning of the year, I was told I couldn't get in for the first appointment for 3 months! The only good thing about that appointment was the Dentist himself - he seemed very nice. Unfortunately his practice is so mismanaged and disorganized, and his staff has no care or concern for his patients. After the initial appt, I needed to set up my first cleaning.... the only appointment they had... was in 6 MORE MONTHS! I felt I had no choice, so I took it, and waited. One week before the appointment - i got a confirmation call, that informed me that they had moved locations. The messge only said that they were now at the intersection of 192/Celebration Ave. - and not downtown Celebration. No problem I thought - I'll leave extra early, just in case I have trouble finding it. Well... I DID have trouble finding it.. I drove around that area for 20-30 minutes and couldn't find it. I typed it into my GPS, and it gave me the address of 400 Celebration Place. THAT NOT THE ADDRESS! That's the Celebration Hospital. I finally called the downtown office again, to get directions by phone. I was immediately placed on hold, for 15 MINUTES - and then finally told the new office is across the street from Celebration, and not actually IN CELEBRATION. I arrived at 9:30 for a 9:15 appt. The soft spoken- but uninterested receptionist ( and my waiting hygenist) both said I was too late for my appointment and they couldn't take me. The receptionist said my appt. was scehduled for 9am ( not true - I still have the appointment card for 9:15) The offered to reschedule me for 11am but I had another Dr. appointment at that time. I was fuming - I was late for the appt because their own staff putting me on hold for 15 minutes. After waiting 6 months for a simple cleaning - I just told them I'd find another dentist. After 2 visits - I had enough and it wasn't worth the time. Sorry Dr. Russo - your staff, and their lack of attention to their job and your patients has lost you some more business. I should bill you for today's lost time. more

I just had a procedure done at Celebration dental Group and Dr Todd Britten was my periodontist. I think this is the best dental office I have ever been to. Everyone is so professional, friendly and truly cares about how you are doing. I'm a whimp when it comes to the dentist, but they were so patient with me and kind. I highly recommend Dr Britten and his staff. more

BEWARE! MESSED UP MY MOUTH 3/29/2011

I had an absolutely beautiful straight smile but made the mistake of having Dr Orlando to do a crown that was so HUGE it made my teeth crooked. When asked he said to see an orthodontist and expected me to pay thousands of $ for braces for their offices mistake. Had to return several times to do incompetence and an infection developed due to said comment. They refused to see me that day so I had to fo to my family doctor for antibiotics as I was in pain. Even the dental hygienist said the crown was too big for my mouth! She's a nice, honest woman, wish she worked somewhere else. I highly agree with the posters above when they say it's the most disorganized office they've ever experienced. A few nice people but most are rude and standoffish. One dental assistant hurried to go for lunch and left a big hole between my gum and the crown (thus the infection), they didn't get the color of the crowns right so now my teeth are various shades, on top of having two crooked front teeth to the point of my front top tooth banging the bottom front tooth so much it's wearing away the enamel. WORST DENTAL OFFICE EVER. You've been warned... more

Dr. Hardeman 6/8/2010

I was nervous after reading a few reviews -however I decided to visit this office and take my chances. I cannot express how wonderful the staff is. I am an extremely anxious patient, Dr. Hardeman made me feel so comfortable. After my first visit I was still apprehensive, but went back to have a wisdom tooth and the two in front of it removed. If there is a God of oral surgery I have definitely found him. I experienced VERY little discomfort and only needed a few motrin the days following my surgery. I have read complaints of cost. I have to say first they are very competitively priced, and second even if they charged me double I would return. I feel safe at this office, I believe wholeheartedly in Dr. H -I know he knows what he is doing and has mastered his skill. If you are fearful of dentistry, oral surgeon, being treated horribly, or looked down upon because of your teeth -this is the place for you! You will be taken care of, and will not feel judged. Dr. H is also an MD which speaks volumes to me. He is dedicated and confident in his abilities. Absolutely the team you want in your mouth! The staff male and female have been fantastic! Pros: EVERYTHING more

Great Group Practice 3/27/2010

Celebration Dental Group has a good manner to deliver dental care. Several Specialists working together for the patient.\r \r The entire dental group has made going to the dentist a great experience for me.\r \r Multiple locations for different family members also helps us with busy schedules.\r \r Pros: Dentists practicing together more

Mixed bag 2/22/2010

Hard to change an appointment. If you don't get a person and leave a message you never get a return call. Some of the staff are very courteous and flexible, but some are not and border on being rude. It would be nice if patients were treated more like customers by everyone. Pros: Some really good, friendly people here Cons: Some of the support staff are not professionals more

I agree with the previous reviewers. 2/13/2009

I found this practice to be bad last year but I had to return yesterday for repair work. The office is unorganized and unprofessional as always. Before I went Josie called me to tell me I had to speak with Jolene about my insurance. She transferred me to Jolene. Who asked why I was bothering her, why I had called, why had Josie out me through to her? She was too busy to even think about my insurance.\r I went for my appointment anyway,as I had no choice. They wanted to xray me again although I was xrayed there 10 days ago, They asked me where my xrays were? I told them that since I did not work there I had no idea. They wanted to xray me again despite notes in my file that xrays had been done. I refused.\r Saw a doc who wanted to build me the 6 million dollar mouth. I was led to an office to get a printed estimate. For 25 minutes I listened to an employee walking around me talking on a drive-thru type headset talking to her friend Linda about her husband`s car problems. Yes, turned out to be the estimator. Insurances did not cover any of the high tech surgery so she wanted to know if I wanted to pay in casdh or charge the $8400 estimate.\r I walked out and will never return. Pros: nice oral surgeon Cons: most disorganized, unprofessional, overgrown dental office ever. more

TREATED ME EXCELLENT 6/16/2008

This office has been wonderful for my family. We have been treated well by the doctor as well as the front office and doctors staff. This is a large practice but it seems as though you see the same girls every time you go, so it is as though there are many ""small"" practices with in this large one. The reviews are prior are hard to believe due to you I believe you have to know your own insurance policies in EVERY situation in this day and age. I had this office sent out for pre-approvals on all work needed than I felt as if I was getting the answers from the horses mouth instead of going by a best estimate. Thanks CDG! more

All they care about is to get as much money as possible 1/28/2008

i have really bad experience with them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. unless you have money that you wanna throw out of the window and people that will do in 5 min to get another person.they don't care about your oral health, they care more about getting you in as many times as possible to get the co pay ... they are very rude, except for some hygeinist.. the docotrs won't even give you time to talk..... i don't recommend it to any one even if it was for free. and if God Forbid you have an emergency , you have to wait until the dr have oppening, THEY DO NOT CARE. Pros: HYGENIST Cons: ACCOUNTING, DOCTORS more

Charged me for a crown after the DOCTOR cracked my tooth. 10/26/2007

I went in for a filling and after had worse pain than the cavity itself. I returned to the dentist and was told that the tooth had cracked but wasn't their fault!! I hadn't said anything about it being their fault, but he was quick to defend himself. I had no problem with the dental assistants, but the doctor wasn't very caring because he knew he had cracked the tooth. They got over $800 out of me and that is with insurance. Anything for a buck. The dentists teeth aren't even nice looking, I should have stopped there!! Pros: Olivia was a great dental hygenist. Cons: The doctor cracked my tooth. more

Double Billing Practice 10/14/2007

Although we have a ""Preferred Dentist Program"" through a large group insurance policy, I was still double billed after paying the demanded amounts with my credit card. I requested, but was not given an itemized bill at that time. The following week I received another bill for the same service and another charge for the amount I had already paid. Had I not complained, I would have been made to pay twice. Then I received an abusive letter from their ""Insurance/ Financial Coordinator"" stating in part.....""During your last telephone conversation with our billing department you became verbally abusive, upon request for statement information. We do not tolerate such behavior at this practice,"" etc.,etc. After my experience with them I feel fortunate that I am no longer acceptable as a patient. Dr. gave me unwrapped gauze pads which he put into a bag marked ""sterile"" with his bare hands. No Thanks C.D.G.! I do not tolerate double billers and the abusive, controlling staff members in their practice. more

Poor customer service--the practice is just too large 9/10/2007

There are approximately a dozen doctors and probably 30 support staff in this dual-office location practice. We were recommended by my husband's colleague and we like most of the support staff and doctors there well enough but the practice is just too large to provide timely service any more. \r \r So, we recently started to searching for new dentists. Couple of warnings before going to Celebration Dental:\r 1. If you need quick service, this is NOT it. On your first visit, you get X-rays and a 10-min doctor visit and cursory inspection. You will have to be rescheduled for any real dental work, and another appointment is needed with another nurse for cleaning.\r 2. They schedule cleanings (via a very rude, abrupt person) 6 months in advance and cannot reschedule easily. It is your obligation to call daily for cancellations if you wish to reschedule. \r 3. If you need to see the doctor, you have to schedule several weeks in advance. \r \r Pros: Pretty good dental work by dentists and orthodontists Cons: Trying to get an appointment in a timely fashion (i.e. within 1 week) is a nightmare, if not impossible! more
