I had been going to this Vet for about two years on and off. One day I brought my cat in for a scheduled check up. It was just before closing. The assistant came in and was kind and attentive. When the vet came in he appeared agitated and apprehensive. My cat sensed this and withdrew in fear. He had never done this before. In an effort to gain control of my cat the Vet attempted to distract him. He then forcefully grabbed my cat by his neck. My poor cat let out the most horrible scream I had ever heard. The assistant came in the room to see what had happened as I am sure my cats scream was heard in the surrounding streets. He told her to shut the door. My poor cat then began to urinate and defecate all over the room, obviously in fear of his life. My cat continued to scream louder and louder. The Vet was holding my cat improperly and hurting him. There was feces and urine everywhere. The Vet then took my cat into the back room to clean him up. I was in shock at the way he handled my cat. It was horrendous. My spouse asked why our cat was defecating everywhere and the Vet responded, "There is a term for being this scared."
