I had such a bad experience here it took me tow days to just write a bad review about it. Our waiter was awkward, obtrusive, and did not check on us or get us refills without us spending 5 minutes to call him over. They served us salsa that was seasoned with black peppers, not real peppers. The chips were stale and cold. The food was tex-mex, in it's lowest form. Not necessarily bad if you like to have a quick trip to the bathroom an hour later. Oh, my favorite part was when our waiter dropped off our check (immediately after serving our entrees) and told us to pay up front, then reminded us that since he had taken care of us that we would most certainly remember to take care of him. Are you serious? There are too many great mexican restaurants around to deal with the BS at this one. Maybe I just had a bad experience, the lunch crowd seems to like it. I have been there for every daily lunch special and have not been dissappointed yet. They have the freshest best-tasting salsa in Austin. I will also say that they serve the best MIgas in Austin as well! This is the most authentic Mexican food in Austin and the service has always been great. Great food! Every dish is a delight! The staff is courteous and very efficient. Never a wait to be seated. And easy parking in front! Imagine that! Pros: great food, easy parking, friendly and terrific staff Cons: music is too loud in small space, but only on the weekends more
