Always leave satisfied 10/27/2011

I have been getting massages for 12 years for neck and shoulder problems resulting from surgery. Moved to Raleigh a few years back and my wife and I both need and enjoy the treatment we receive both during the massage and before and after. Started with Nicole and have tried Anna and Melissa since Nicole is hard to get. I have always had a good experience and felt as if they were really concerned about my well being. more

Healing hands at Cary Massage 1/13/2010

I've been a client at Cary Massage for about 6 years now. I've had deep tissue work done by several practitioners and have always been pleased with the results. For the past three or four years, I've seen Nicole almost exclusively. She always helps improve my chronic upper back and neck discomfort, and has also provided relief from sciatica pain, TMJ, and elbow/forearm strain. Thanks to Cary Massage, I only rarely need to take any medication for pain. My job involves a lot of computer work, and getting regular massages has been invaluable in alleviating the aches and pains associated with repetitive movements. The business has recently undergone a change in management and moved to the office suite next door, but the service and experience are as wonderful as ever. Prices are very competitive for this area, and they offer frequent specials and coupons as well. I'm a nurse, and I'm also a big believer in massage therapy as an effective treatment for chronic musculoskeletal problems....Cary Massage is awesome. Book an appointment now. Pros: Highly skilled therapists, great customer service Cons: None more

The Definition of TLC 12/12/2009

I've been a client of Cary Massage for almost 4 years now. Every time I come in for a massage, I feel at home. I've got a crazy schedule, and the therapists go out of their way to fit me in. If you have aches and pains like I do, I would definitely recommend Anna's deep tissue work. So if you are looking for a great massage and want to feel like a member of the family and not a number, call and schedule a session with Nicole, Anna or the other therapists. You won't regret becoming a regular at Cary Massage. Pros: Best Massages Ever Cons: None more

Best place to get a masasge, hands down 12/11/2009

Cary Massage Therapy is the best place I have EVER gotten a massage. From the minute you arrive you are warmly greeted and offered a drink of water (or a cookie!). The staff is amazing and put you at ease right away...before the massage even starts. The ambiance is extremely relaxing and the massages are fantastic, especially from Nicole. She defintely has a magic touch and I always leave wishing I had booked a 2 hour instead of just a one hour. Polite, professional, and even a great sense of humor, Nicole and Cary Massage Therapy are a must for anyone in the Triangle! Pros: Atmosphere, Staff, Quality of massage...everything! Cons: None. more

Pros: very relaxing atmosphere Cons: n/a more

Worst massage I have ever received 9/20/2009

I probably get a massage about once every 3 months or so. When I go, it is such a treat- and so only that much more disappointing if it's not a great experience. I decided to try Cary Massage Therapy for the first time recently. It was HANDS DOWN the worst massage experience I have ever had. Just awful. I went in sore and tired/stressed- and came out feeling WORSE than when I went in! 5 minutes into a 90 minute massage, I wanted to leave. If the owner is reading this, I highly recommend she schedule a massage with her staff every so often- I just can't imagine that my therapist would have passed the test. I won't go into detail (as I hate getting people in trouble!) BUT I warn anyone who is looking for a great massage experience to go elsewhere... And hopefully I can save you the agony of paying $130 for a wasted 90 minutes. more

Great Massage & Therapy 2/17/2008

I have been a client at Cary Massage Therapy for over 9 years! I always receive a therapeutic effect after my session on the area of my body being worked on for a specific ailment. I was in two car accidents within a 4 week time period and both times was rear ended by another car. The whiplash was so severe I was barely able to turn my head while backing out of a parking space. I began seeing Hope at Cary Massage Therapy on a weekly basis and she did "wonders" for me. The range of motion in my neck returned,my headaches went away, and the scar tissue that had developed no longer caused me any stiffness. Cary Massage Therapy is always very accomodating with my schedule and I enjoy the calming atmosphere when I arrive for my massage. I highly recommend Cary Massage Therapy and trust me...you will enjoy your massage there as well ! Pros: very accomodating, great massage more

Best of best!!! 2/10/2008

I have been a client of CMT for over 9 years now. I have seen them grow from a small facility to what it is now purely because of their excellent work!!!! A couple of years ago, I developed some neck and shoulder problems because of the type of my job, and I went for physical therapy for many months but in vain. I finally decided to go to CMT more regularly and they fixed all my problems just like that. I am more productive at work and home now than ever before. I love their facility and the staff. Almost every massage therapist worked with me and they all have amazing hands. The facility is so cozy, you will feel half of your stress is gone as soon as you walk in. Keep up your excellent work, Hope and team! Pros: Everything: Ambience, Service, Friendly Staff, Warm atmosphere Cons: Nothing more

I couldn't work without them! 2/8/2008

I've been a patient at CMT for over 4 years and like the header says...'I couldn't work without them!' My line of work is physically demanding and prior to finding CMT I endured almost constant pain in my lower back. About two years ago I herniated two discs in my neck from an automobile accident which created a whole other set of challenges for me. I can't remember the last time I needed medication for either my back or neck and I used to go through almost 2 bottles of advil per MONTH!! I normally get the deep tissue therapy and it always hits the spot. I have also received Hot-stone therapy and Swedish massage. The staff are always polite and the office is a clean, peaceful environment. I have given numerous gift cards for CMT to friends and family and they have always been satisfied. I've even had them do on-site chair massage for a real estate office in Chapel Hill that gives my business lots of referrals. Some of those agents now drive to Cary to get massage therapy because they were so impressed. If you've never had massage therapy before CMT should be your only choice! Pros: Professional and polite staff. Clean office, peaceful ambiance... Thanks Hope!! more

Best Massages and Facials in the Cary, NC area 2/8/2008

Unlike one of the comments I have read that spoke negatively about Cary Massage Therapy I have to say that I have been one of their clients for over 6 years and I have never had a bad experience. This is the most professional Massage facility that I have ever been to. I found the Therapists to be very knowledgeable and accomodating. They work with the clients to ensure their complete satisfaction. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and you feel wonderful after your massage. You are not rushed to hurry up and they are excellent at staying on schedule. Should you need a massage, please give them the opportunity to fulfill your needs. They also offer facials and other services which are great. Pros: Professional and accomodating to the clients needs and comfort. Excellent atmosphere for a relaxing experience. Cons: Nothing negative to say more

Worst massage and most resulting pain in over 10 years and multiple locations 11/2/2007

I just returned from Cary massage; and, unfortunately, it was the worst massage I've had in over 10 years of body treatments, including practitioners who were still in school. I suffer from severe tension and mild pain in my back between my shoulders and in my lower back, as well as moderate stiffness, but little pain in my neck. In under an hour t(I had booked a 90-minute deep tissue) the 'therapist' had lightly stroked by entire body -- with less than a dozen deep strokes to my back. When he lifted my limbs and head, his arms shook as though he was unable to support the weight. As a result of the way he held my neck, I now have increased tension and pain in my neck and back to the point that now, after more than three hours after I ended the session, I am having difficulty turning my head to the left without severe pain in my back neck and arm. When I expressed my displeasure to the therapist, he asked if I wanted him to continue to work on my neck. When I was waiting at the front desk to speak with the receptionist, he told me I only had to pay for an hour. (I was on the table for less than an hour.) When I told the receptionist, she simply stared at me with wide eyes and said "I'm sorry." While I've had mediocre massages in the past, I have never felt the need to dress so quickly so I could go home and wash off the excess oil that was dripping off of my legs; never have I had a massage where the professional was so inept, he was unable to find the appropriate places in my arms, back and neck. Neither have I had a body treatment when the practioners hands were so noticable rough that I felt like suggesting he try Eucerin cream. If you go to Carey Massage, don't expect a therapeutic experience, professional behaviour, or customer satisfaction as a result. Pros: The waiting room wallsare a nice color. Cons: Lack of professionalism; Lack of skill more

wonderful massage 1/17/2007

I've been to several massage places, and each has been a positive experience, but I must say that Cary Massage Therapy has given me the most complete feeling of both "massage" and "therapy". They do a wonderful job of having you leave feeling totally refreshed and somehow "healthier" and more envigorated than when you went in. For a truly professional and caring experience, you can't beat CMT. Everyone isa friendly and attentive to your needs and dedicated to making your experience special, I appreciate that. Pros: Caring attentive treatment Cons: none more

Excellent therapy 5/12/2005

I have gone to Cary Massage 3 times and each time I go I feel a sense of absolute respect, care, and genuine concern for my well bieng. I have a shoulder and lower back injury that I recieve chiropractic therapy on from a chiropractor. Adding the massage therapy has helped considerably, and Cary massage has really been a good find for me. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the staff very accomadating. I would recommend anyone in need of therapy take advantage. I will continue to go here. Pros: Genuineness, Atmosphere, Variety of techniques more

Really great massage, though I was a little uncomfortable with some of the religious knick-knacks. As soon as I closed my eyes, I forgot about them. more
