So I went into the office hoping to solve my toothache. I told the dentist that I wasn't sure which actual tooth but, I told him what side and that it was on the bottom. He looked around and determined it where the problem was. It was the same tooth he worked on before and decided to re-do the filling. So, after being numbed, he started drilling. Let's just say there was not enough drugs because I felt EVERYTHING! He gave me another shot and tried again. After being charged $100 on top of my insurance coverage (probably the most I've ever spent to repair a filling), I was told that I could schedule a separate appointment for my cleaning and to repair a crack. Of course they had no availability before year end so I'd have to fork out another deductible instead of just accomplishing everything in one visit. Which, I clearly asked the receptionist when booking my appt. if the dentist would have time to do whatever work was necessary. She said he had plenty of time and even had me come in an extra 30 minutes early from my original appointment. When I asked him to fix the crack, he said ""no way, I don't have time for that today!""
Come to find out he didn't fix anything. I still have a toothache. I did my own digging around in the mirror and saw the problem. It was the tooth right next to the one he was working on. I can see with my own eyes the exposed hole from a missing filling. How could he of not seen that if he was working on the tooth right next to it? I can't believe after all that I'm still left with a mouth that I can't use on one side. I've booked with a different dentist and don't plan to go back.
I will say the dental assistant was super sweat! That was the only nice part of my visit.
