I used Dr. Carter for a couple of years. When I went to have my dd, I was on Medicaid and she had promised me that although it's not the policy, that she'd deliver my baby herself anyway. Well, she didn't, one of her "paying" patients got priority over me and I was pushed off on the other doctor. Not that it bothered me that much, but when she NEVER came in to even say hello or sorry or anything, that really hurt my feelings. I never went back to her.
Overall she is a nice doctor and ok with care, but SUPER fast with the way she does things with you and you feel kinda like cattle herding in and out of her office.
I wouldn't NOT recommend her, but I would say I'd try someone else first.
