You wouldn't think it, but this is a great place for a drink. Draft beers are 2-for-1 until 7 pm everyday except Saturday. You can also get a glass and a half of Sangria and house wine for the price of a glass .... Sangria is homemade and delicious! more

Great little Italian Place and LOVE the owner!!! 4/18/2011

My friend and I recently dinned at Carrabba's in Greenhills. The food was amazing, hot, on time and very well prepared. The owner of the restaurant came out and spoke with everyone. The location is inisde the mall so it is very convenient to shopping etc. I would go back in a heart beat, and the owner is very easy on the eyes. more

Rude Hostess 6/23/2010

My wife and I have been customers of Carrabba's for years, but I don't know how often we will continue to go there. The past several times we have gone into the Green Hills restaurant, the same hostess has been extremely rude. I asked her what her name was, and she said Emily Krieg. I don't know if it is the young, ""college student attitude"" or what, but I hope the restaurant starts hiring better suited individuals, with more out-going and energetic personalities. I don't appreciate attitude and being talked down to by a teenager. Hopefully things change, it would be really sad to lose such loyal customers as well as other patrons. Cons: Disrespectful. more

Great Food! Great Service! 6/2/2010

My wife an I have a track record of bad luck when we visit a restaurant for the first time. It seems that they always get my order right, but not hers. Either she orders a steak meadium-rare and it comes out well-done, or they put onions on the food when we asked for the onions to be left out (she is extremely allergic onion juice), or she orders a chicken alfredo, and it comes out in a tomato-based sauce, and by the time they get her order done right, I am already done eating. This doesn't work for us. We kind of like getting to eat at the same time.\r \r When I called Carrabba's to make reservations, I told them about this, and I told them that we would be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary. The lady who took our reservation promised that they would do everything possible to make our evening splendid.\r \r When we arrived for dinner, we were met by a smiling hostess who took us straight to our table, and introduced us to our waitress. Our waitress was also extremely pleasant, and took great pains to see that we were well taken care of. She also made the effort to find out which items had onions in them, and point them out to us. Our soft drinks never ran dry. This lady worked hard.\r \r My wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo, while I ordered the Norwegian Grilled Salmon along with a bowl of an Italian Chicken Noodle soup.\r \r My wife's Chicken Alfredo actually came out in a very tasty Alfredo sauce, not some red tomato-based sauce that another restaurant had tried to pass off as an Alfredo. It had spring peas that were delectably crunchy, and it arrived at a temperature that was just absolutely perfect.\r \r My Norwegian Grilled Salmon was divine! I grew up an hour south of Seattle, WA, where the seafood chefs consider cooking salmon to be an art form. This salmon was among the very best that I have ever had! Scrumptuous! On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being ""yuck"" and 10 being ""heavenly"", this was an 11!\r \r To top it all off, the manager came over and offered us each free desert on the occassion of our anniversary. Since we are both Type 2 diabetics, we had to pass, and we did tell him why, but that we also appreciated the gesture.\r \r When he heard this, he refused to allow us to pay for our meals. He did this as a gift for our wedding anniversary!\r \r All in all, the manager and staff at Carrabba's went way over and beyond anything that we had expected. They gave us an evening that was something we will never forget, and I can guarantee that we will definitely be back! The fact that my wife was crying tears of happiness over what they did for us pretty much guarantees that we will definitely return!\r \r more

Say what you want, it's still damn good 2/18/2010

I hate to admit that I like this place (although I usually go to the one in Franklin, TN). I've NEVER had a bad meal here: ever. I can order anything on the menu and it's always good. I just feel like a schmuck saying I like Carrabba's. It's tantamount to raving about Wal-Mart, when you've got an old-timey general store down the road. My partner and I usually eat here at least once a month, and it's always great. That's probably because it's corporate, but it could be consistently bad: like Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden. So, kudos to putting out a quality product. I just tried the veal Marsala a few weeks ago: classic and delicious. Have I had better at non-franchise Italian restaurants? Absolutely. But all those restaurants are up in New York, New Jersey and New England: not Tennessee. So. love the one you're with, I guess. Pros: Great food, fair prices, never disappoints Cons: Hard to get seated without reservation more

Fun to sit at the kitchen bar 1/22/2010

Ate Lobster Ravioli and it tasted so much like lobster base that it didn't seem real, even though there were pieces of lobster in the ravioli. I wouldn't order it again. My caesar salad was good. Their bread is low grade, no real texture, much like Olive Garden's. more

What has happened?!! 7/7/2008

This used to be our favorite Italian restaurant, hands down, but not any more. The last four times we've been there--or ordered out--have been absolutely horrible. (I'm speaking specifically regarding the Carrabba's in Green Hills. Others have been relatively good.) The hosts have been less than gracious, the servers incompetent! Oh, and the food--actually made me sick twice! What has happened? I wouldn't be writing this review if I'd only had one bad experience...however, as stated earlier, I've given this restaurant four consecutive chances--as has my husband and his parents--and we have no intentions of returning anytime in the near future. I hope they get better. The Cesar salad, though, is still very good. Pros: Good salad, decent parking, curbside servers very nice, good ambience. Cons: Everything else--especially the food!!! more

Man this place is good. We have been to a bunch of them and have found all their restaurants to be clean, and friendly. The food has never been less than Outstanding. \r My wife will get fish, or sometimes veggies or chicken, but me.......it's Steak and its good. I have had Spaghetti and it was very good also. They don't have may favorite vegetable though. That would be candy corn. I can over look that one though.\r I know food and am not fooled by portion size or glitz and glitter. Save the BS and serve good food at a good Value, and that is what you will get at Carrabba's.\r OK....wait. There is one thing I don't like about the place. That is the funky olives they put in the salad. What are those things?\r Anyway if you like great food at a fair price with friendly service thrown in, you will love Carrabba's.\r Pros: Always very good. Cons: Sometimes a long wait, but with call ahead seating it is not too bad. more

I'll tell you why - it's cheap, or at least relatively inexpensive.\r \r We went to the newly opened Carrabba's at Indian Lake a few weekends ago. I had the 4-cheese ravioli and my guest had the ravioli with chicken and spinach. Neither had much flavor and way too little sauce. \r \r I can see it as a great ""family restaurant"" cause usually the kids aren't too picky. \r \r But no way would I wait 90 minutes again for bland food. Nice service, bland food & not generous with wine 2/5/2007

My husband chose this for his birthday & regrets it. When I called to make the reservations I had mentioned that it was his birthday & the girl I had spoken to said she will write it down. We were seated immediately. The bread was really good but the salads were very bland. My husband ordered wine & the amount they gave him only filled the glass up by about an inch. It cost him $7 for this? Our main course was veal marsala for me & steak for him. They were both tough & tasteless. The only highlight was the dessert..I think it was called Dessert Rosa. It was delicious! The thing that made me angry was that they forgot that it was a birthday celebration & the foodservers never did say anything. On the way out, I asked the hostess if it was written by the reservation that it was a birthday & she said yes & that they sing to the birthday person. I told her it didn't happen & that I was upset. She shrugged her shoulders & said ""Oh well. Sorry."" We will not be coming back. more

A FAMILY FAVORITE! 11/20/2006

Carrabba's is a weekly favorite. The service is always excellent and we certainly get a lot for our money. Our favorite menu items include: margherita pizza, minestrone soup, Italian salad, Mezzaluna, angel hair pasta, and the salmon entree. Of course, the bread and dipping oil is the main reason we go. Carrabba's is also a great ""take out"" restaurant. They bring your order to your car window. Service cannot get any better than that! more

I have never had a bad meal or service at Carrabba's Italian Grill. Weve tried other Italian food in the area, and it just cant compete with Carrabbas. The Mezzaluna, moon-shaped, tomato based chicken pasta is one of the best dishes Ive ever had. (And trust me, I love to eatand Im a picky eater.) Also, I would recommend the Manicotti with a side order of meatballs. And of course the Rigatoni Martino is wonderful! For desert, you can have the Tiramisu, or splurge (taste-bud wise) on the Dessert Rosa. Carrabbas is the perfect combination of rich and delicious food. The portions are very large, but inexpensively priced. My boyfriend and I usually split an order of something, and we still take leftovers home. Between the wine, appetizer salad, main course, and yummy desert, we are stuffed. But if youre hungrygo for it. No matter what the night and how much you spend, the service is always outstanding. Its also very kid friendly, catering to bambinis interests. I highly recommend Carrabba's Italian Grill. more
