Great food, dazzling appetizers 3/20/2006

Here's a tip for ordering---you can create a dazzling meal out of Carousel's appetizer list alone! it's a great way to sample their different dishes and it's especially fun if you have a small crowd. Just pass around the dishes and you'll get to try a bit of everything! Service was prompt and friendly---we went on a Thursday so weekends might be a bit tougher to get a table etc. Pros: Amazing appetizers, good service, fun setting Cons: VERY crowded weekends more

RSVP BEFORE YOU GO 11/26/2005

Although the food is great, you will wait for hours before they sit you so RSVP before you go and if they tell you to just come in, make them RSVP you anyway. Real Lebanese, Real Good! 9/26/2005

Carousel serves Lebanese food with other Middle Eastern selections. Not Armenian food. This is often confused because Armenians fled to other countries during the Armenian genocide. Many immigrated to the Middle East and lived there for generations. However, the food still belongs to the native Middle Eastern culture. The food is so good with good sized portions. Definitely try this place out...the ambience is a little kitschy, but the food alone is worth it. This place is definitely on my personal top 10 list of favorites. more

Worth adding to your list. 9/22/2004

We had a group of four early on a Sat. night, so I called first and was told to just come on in. We were then told that we had to be finished by 8pm, which fortunately wasn't a problem for us. We all ordered combinations and we were amazed at the amount and the variety. We all liked nearly everything, except for the 6 year old who was very picky, but liked what he was willing to try. The space is a tad ballroom like because of the floorshow, but you can try to get a booth or sit outdoors. Service was okay, but then we were near a main artery and could reach out and grab someone when necessary. We will be back, and perhaps stay for the show. Pros: Variety, Good value more

Lots of fun 7/15/2004

Carousel is a very fun place to go especially friday and saturday night, they have a set menu, and it includes, mezza, kebobs and entertainment which includes singers, belly dancers, and lots of dancing! I would go to Carousel over and over again, they have very good food especially the Cheese Boreg and cheekofteh! I highly recommend anyone to try Carousel but make sure to make reservations first! We were pleasantly suprised when we visited this place. It was a Friday night, they had live music and a belly dance show that included international dances. The place was very happening with all kinds of cool, classy people dancing and having a good time. Great atmosphere! Can't wait to go back. more

Totally Hip 1/31/2004

This was definitely a vacation of a few hours. Our vist to this palatial bash dining room was a totally excellent and complete culinary experience. You owe it to yourself to get addicted (I did). My next visit will be on a Friday night; I heard they become a very classy, yet happening and hip Supper Club on the weekends after 9pm. Pros: refined food, friendly service, authentic decor more

2 words, TAKE-OUT 1/30/2004

The take-out menu is a bit different than the sit-down menu, which doesn't include my favorite dish, the chicken kabab sandwich. It's more like a gyro than a sandwich w/ an insane garlic sauce I can't get enough of. I've only eaten at the restaurant once and the service was admittedly less than adequate, but the take-out service is very dependable and the menu is even better anyway in my opinion. After hearing both good and bad, I was dubious about my visit to the Carousel. After being promptly seated during a crowded period, the service could not have been better. As for the food, Super!
