These people are UNFREKINBELIEVABLE...NO NOTICE AND THEY CUT YOUR WATER OFF???? after they have cashed your check?????? Can you say class action lawsuit? Im calling the Utilities...

Poor customer service!! 11/4/2008

The customer service is horrible! I just moved here and I am so upset by the way I was treated. I hope there is another water company I can try. I didn't recieve a water bill for October, but when I called to see why I didn't and to try to pay it so it wouldn't be late, the representative had the nerve to tell me that it was already late. She was very ugly with it too! Sometimes I wonder where are the Supervisors and Managers of these companies and if they are aware of how the treat their paying customers. These representatives are not being recorded and therefore don't care how they speak to customers. Something needs to be done about this. Pros: turned on service easily Cons: late or no monthly bills and poor customer service more

Worst water service EVER 8/19/2008

When I moved in in 2006 I paid about $18.00 a month...now I pay about $35.00 a month....A 100% increase in cost over 2 years?!?!?! Are you kidding me? We also have no choice in water service. There are only two adults and one infant living in our duplex...we don't wash cars and we don't water our grass. My neighbor 3 houses down didn't pay his bill and they cut my water off. Then when I called, there was NOBODY there! Not even on their "Emergency" option on the answering system. My wife eventually got in touch with somebody in their corporate headquarters in the midwest and they called the local supervisor....it was too late though, I had already turned my water back on with pliers. This is just ridiculous service and I cannot believe that we have no other choice...talk about a monopoly. Pros: NONE Cons: Lots more

Charges! 7/2/2008

You know, I never really paid attention to my Water bill until I received one for $90.00! $90.00 dollar!, Ok we are a household of 2. We don't water the lawn, we rely on Mother Nature for the most part. Dare not wash the car, we may get a fine. Why is my bill now $90.00 plus a month?. This is terrible! I understand that everything is going up, but give me a break. how do I jump from $45.00 to double the amount. With those charges, I should never be dirty! I am very satisfied with my water company. They are very patient when it comes to paying a bill. They would work with you to settle a balance and there customer service is great. They repsond quickly to a call that is place on hold. Thank you Carolina Water Service Inc-Nc. more

THE Worst Company In Town 4/23/2008

I have never been so disappointed in a company that I MUST pay each month. There is absolutely no customer service with the company. My water is brown and it stains the toilets, tubs, sinks, and showers in my home. Heavens forbid if you are not able to make a payment on time and need additional time because you will be talking to hear yourself. I have NEVER experienced such a service and to top it off the rates are outrageous. I wish we had a choice in the area (Charlotte 28215) in which I live but we do not and it just makes absolutely no sense to have to deal with them in any shape fashion or form! Cons: Not enough room to write a response more

My water is provided by the city at one rate and my sewer is through this company at a flat rate rather I use water or not. I guess this is okay for people whom have pools and water their lawns daily, neither of which I am. When sewer backed into my yard they didn't want to come out until I paid the people's bill that were thrown out before I brought this home. Even the higher ups are rude and acted as if they knew more about me than I do. Good luck to anyone that has to deal with these people. Pros: I know of known Cons: All listed in my comments more

in 7 years, they have raised the rates three times, and drinking the water is unadvisable. you can SEE particles in the water. gross. my water bill was 60.00 in 2001, and now its 85.00, and still i have to buy drinking water. you also get cut off every time you call, unless you say that you are a vendor. Pros: service only goes out once a month or so Cons: its the only provider more

Why doesn't they scale go to negative numbers for this dog... 7/31/2006

The water service provided by this sorry excuse for a H2O supplier is a joke. Whenever the power goes off in our neighborhood their pumps stop working so the 300+ people are without water! I guess these savvy business folks have never heard of the words backup generator - it's a ""new"" technology, go check out Einstein! Pros: The water isn't radioactive (as far as I know) Cons: To many to list - low pressure, no water when the power is out. more

The water service provided by this sorry excuse for a H2O supplier is a joke. Whenever the power goes off in our neighborhood their pumps stop working so the 300+ people are without water! I guess these savvy business folks have never heard of the words backup generator - it's a "new" technology, go check out Einstein! Let's see, the water pressure in our complex is so bad that you cannot run two water sources at the same time. For example, if I try to water my lawn and make the mistake of turning on the kitchen faucet or do something stupid like flushing a toilet - the pressure drops so low that the sprinkler doesn't have enough pressure to rotate on it's own. The problem now is that even though we have been annexed by the city they won't sell off their system so Charlotte can update it and give us decent water! Bad, bad company to do business with. Shame on everyone associated with them! Pros: The water isn't radioactive (as far as I know) Cons: To many to list - low pressure, no water when the power is out. more
