This theater is very appealing. It's very close to my house, and it always has the movies I enjoy. The people are very friendly as well.

Horrible Establishment 5/27/2011

I decided to go to see the Early showing of Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3-D with my 5 year old daughter. The showing was supposed to start at 12:05 and we arrived at 11:15 and were told that they didnt open until 11:30 so I went and sat in the car until then. So we return to knock on the door and it was still locked while the staff refused to open the door. They finally open the door at 11:45 and we proceeded to get snack and ctach the previews. We get into the movie and it was to start at 12:05 but did not begin until 12:30. Then midway through the movie the power goes out and for about 10 minutes theres no movie and they preoceed to rewind the movie to where it was before the cut off. It was a horrible experience and The Manager and General Manager are horrible and need a course in Management Training and Customer Service. Avoid this dump at all cost and go to North Hills or even Six Forks Station. more

Go on a weekday... 7/21/2006

What a dump!!! The theatre smelled like B.O.. The carpets are aweful. I am glad it was dark so I couldn't see what the seats looked like. It is very hard to believe this theatre had been renovated in the last 8 years. The help was bad. Management has no control over the patrons and the Police didn't seem to have any effect. I will never go again unless the sun is shining; this is not the place to be on Fri & Sat Night. Cons: condition of theatre; the help; & teenage movie-goers more

Not bad, not great 6/30/2005

This used to be the biggest theater in the Raleigh area, and now is just another megaplex among many. It's older, and starting to show it just a bit, but the service is decent and the popcorn is great. It's appearance is your typical Carmike syle, which isn't bad but it's exactly like every other Carmike in the country. It's a nice neighborhood place for those who live close by, but I live on the other side of town and I don't think it's worth driving the distance to visit each time I see a movie. I used to come alot for their $3.50 matinees, but for some reason they stopped doing this and then denied that they ever did it. I don't mind going here every now and then, but I prefer the closer-by (and nicer) North Hills and the Raleigh Grande. Pros: Great Parking, Great Popcorn, Large Selection Cons: Crowded on weekends, a bit dirty, swamped with teens more

deminished_past hell yah! 4/13/2005

look, everyone that's hatin' on carmike 15. come off of it. Besides their prices being to high and the chair's being raggedy i like the theater. i go there at least 5 times a month if not more. Everyone there is friendly and yall' can get over the teenagers that hang out there. We have say so too. So ummm for everyone's info i highly recommend carmike 15. If you dont like going there then dont so stop complaining. <3 yah! Pros: video, sound, costumer satisfaction Cons: prices more

Seating 1/1/2005

The Seats in most of the theatre romms are terrible. They are stained, broken, and missing arm rests, in general they need to be upgraded, other then that it would be an outstanding theatre. Pros: Good parking, average prices, good atmosphere more

Good but.... 2/21/2003

If you want to go see a movie at the theater with the best, sound and video go to Carmike 15! Really... even their small theaters have great, rocking sound, and crystal clear pictures... the bad thing is that it doesn't always have the best crowd of people hanging out, especially on a Friday or Saturday night Pros: comfort, sound, picture Cons: crowd more

i've had better 2/1/2003

this place has improved over time but is still not the best. you must stand out in the lobby until right before your movie starts. I have had better experiences. Pros: close to home, not crowded, never sold out Cons: dirty, bad management more

Decent, but not the best. 12/18/2002

Every time I go to this theatre, it is like a different place each time. Sometimes they clean the theatres out decently, sometimes they don't and there is crap all over the floors. They need to fix the air filtration in there, b/c it always stinks. Can't mention anything about the noisy people, b/c you'll have that at every theatre you go to - just seems like it is noisier at this theatre... more

Clean.modern, just bad service 12/18/2002

This newly remodeled (within a year or so) theatre offers comfortable chairs, big screens and superb sound...what it doesn't offer is much in the way of service. If you can live with that..this is a good bet. And its not as crowded as the Grande. Pros: sound, big screens, good parking Cons: slow service, inefficient more

Tear it down 11/29/2002

This place is awful. By having the entrances at the front where the screen is, and forcing the patrons to climb some very awkward stairs to get to their seats, the maximum aggravation is acheived with the minimul expenditure. I think its a potential firetrap. The concession stand is slow, overpriced, and the popcorn and candy seems stale. There is a nice pleasant black lady ticket taker whose warmth and good manners does not belong in this wormy dump. Pros: Lady ticket taker Cons: Poor entrances, Dingy worn out look, Stale popcorn more

I love this Theater 11/26/2002

Ok, my only complaint about this theater is that the staff can be hard to deal with and don't always do their jobs. Other than that, I think it's great. Anyone who goes to the theater and doesn't expect pricey snacks is a moron. That's just the way it is. Deal with it. The theater is close to my home. It always plays the movies I want to see. The seats have the movable armrests, with cup holders in them, and the matinee rates are GREAT! SO yeah, that's about it. Pros: Discount Times, Good Selection, Lots of Screens Cons: Pricey Snacks, Bad Staff more

Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. 11/14/2002

Just a few words of warning: Firstly, expect to pay several dollars for the 'privilege' of paying with your debit card and you can't use a credit card at all. Second, don't expect much choice or quality in the snack department and expect to pay big bucks. Thirdly, don't expect much more out of the staff than surly indifference. I sat through The Ring a week or so back, but I couldn't enjoy it. While -three- ushers stood on and watched (or in the case of one, actually joined in) several groups of rowdy teens played havoc with the enjoyment of all the rest of us who were stupid enough to drop $7.50 on a Friday night. Never again. Frankly, if I had the resources I'd buy the place, fire the staff and replace them with shaved chimps. At least primates don't want minimum wage. Pros: It's near my house, Erm..., Nope, that's it. Cons: Surly staff, Overpriced snacks, Anarchy rules. more

A really good show 7/24/2002

Unlike some theaters, this Carmike actually cares about the quality of sound and picture. When sitting in a theater, you should not be entertained by the adjoining films, and here that doesn't happen. Also, you very seldom, if ever, stick to the floor, or find a movie not showing when it is promised. If someone just HAS to see a movie that is not rated to admit them, they should wait and rent it, not expect someone to violate the law for their convenience. Pros: large parking area, good popcorn Cons: need Pepsi, not Coke more
