Carmike 10 - Richmond

Tucked away on Alverser Drive, the Midlothian Carmike 10 is a surprise oasis with impressively clean theaters and restrooms, comfortable seats, and a fabulous, friendly staff. I recently hosted a surprise 30th birthday party at the Midlothian Carmike 10 on a Saturday night. Alec, the manager, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful throughout the planning process. The night of the party, he made sure that the event ran seamlessly. I was amazed with the entire staff’s ability to make a busy Saturday night with an additional function seem so easy. Everyone was all smiles and helpful. With an exceptional, courteous staff and well-appointed facilities, the Midlothian Carmike 10 is the movie theater to visit in the Richmond area. more

Poor Carmike ... new multiplex being built very nearby, don't know how they will compete. Great deal on the refillable popcorn bucket. Been here many times, would return. Pros: nice small neighborhood feel, refillable popcorn bucket deal Cons: too few screens more

You got to like commercials when you go to the movies at the carmike.......... Over 23 minutes of all types of commercials. at least 15 minutes of TV like commercials (various products and een TV shows), and over 5-7 minutes of new movie commercials. At $9.00 a movie ticket, I'll stay home, rent a DVD for $5 and fast forward passed the commercials. more

That's basically why we love this theater. It's not huge and overly crowded like some of the other theaters in the area. more
