Caribou 5/28/2006

This place only has a handful of tables and they are right next to each other. This is a good coffee shop to get your coffee and croissant to go unless you are showing up at an odd time of the day. The people who work here are super cool and have fun with the morning crowd. more

Small 5/20/2006

I have gone for coffee here a few times and it is always too packed. One of the positive parts of this place is that the atmosphere when not packed is very lively and easy to hang out in. The people who work here are always nice and relaxed. This is a nice place to sit down and watch Clark Street go by in front of you. more

Good Coffee and Pastries 3/9/2006

Caribou Coffee is a good alternative to Starbucks although they're very similar. Their regular coffee is quite good, as well as their specialty drinks. Their mint frenzy coffee is a favorite of mine. They also offer the usual pastries and biscotti. The Bavarian Cream Turnover is not to be missed, as well as their poppyseed bread. You'll often find Caribou Coffee is crowded as people type away on their laptops. The counter service is always very friendly and pleasant. more

Okay coffee place 3/9/2006

This place always seems to be crowded with people so I thought I would stop in and see what all the hype was about. I was pretty disappointed. The drinks at this place didn't even compare to my standard Cafe Mocha at Starbucks. But they did have a good brownie that I had. I didn't like the fact that most of the tables were taken, so we had to leave. I probably won't be frequenting this coffee place very much, despite the good brownie they served. more

Cozy... really cozy 3/6/2006

I have spent a good amount of time at this coffee shop. The employees are great, the atmosphere is calm and it is a good place to people watch over Lincoln Park. The downfall is that it has tight quarters. At the wrong time of day you will have trouble just getting in and out. Take a friend and ask for the checkers. more

If only there were more 1/13/2006

Caribou coffee is GREAT. Much better than Starbucks. The staff are as friendly as the baristas at SB, and the prices are very similar, unfortunately. Still, if you have one close by, you really should check it out. My husband prefers this over SB. Every time I try a new flavor, I have a new favorite. more

This Caribou Coffee is a great place to relax and have a great cup of coffee. They have the best coffees in lots of different flavors and blends. Their Chocolate Turtle Mocha is a must try!! The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed and you can enjoy a drink and a great snack while reading, chatting with friends, or enjoying the great view. more
