service department is pretty good 11/3/2006

I brought my TDI diesel Beetle in for service and they assigned my car to Steve in Service. The repairs were minor and covered under warranty. Steve got me set up in a rental car free of charge and called me everyday with status. The repair took much longer than expected (nearly a week) and after 2 months I am going to have to bring it in again for the same problem, but Steve was good to work with and made the overall experience pleasant. Great service center! 6/7/2006

I used Carmax's service center recently for a repair to my vehicle. The communication with the service technician was great and the service was fast. They seem to have genuine concern for customers. I took my car in on a Tuesday and it was ready Wednesday. I also bought this vehicle at Carmax in 2001 and it has only been in the shop 2 times in 5 years! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a car or needs one repaired. I was very satisfied. more

They are great they will sell you a car, and buy your old car from you. they also have a lot of variety in new an old cars so you have plenty to pick from. the associates are very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out what is best for you. more
