Great comic shop, super helpful and friendly 3/22/2012

I recently decided to get back into comics and I wanted to involve my son. So we went to visit Capitol Comics II. Being a long time collector who was on a 15 yr break I was worried we may find the typical snobby, no time to talk to new people, staff or culture. Not at all. They were super helpful and took the time to explain what was going on in the industry for the past few years and what books I might enjoy checking out. They also took the time to ask my, 7yr old, son what interested him. I found the prices to be reasonable, and there was more than enough inventory to check out. So because of this I helped my son fill out his first pull list, and I enjoyed filling out my own as well. Love the place. more

Great comic shop! 9/11/2010

They always have what I want, and are willing to order whatever they don't have. Friendly staff, and even though I can only make it in twice a month to pick up my subscriptions John never needs to ask my name - he just heads straight to my stuff and hands it to me. Pros: friendly staff, great selection Cons: sometimes they'll forget to put something I subscribed to in my bag, but I just pick it up next time if it's only available at the other location. more

Best Comic Book store - EVER!!!!!! 9/3/2008

Well stocked and diverse store. Ken, the owner, and John are wonderful to deal with. They have never failed to locate specialty items for me, or to fill my last minute requests. I have always been treated like a VIP whether I'm buying a stack of premium trades or a couple of new comics. Check them out, you will be glad you did. Pros: If they don't have they'll get it for you. more
