Capaccio Brothers Furniture

We are still waiting for the truck. Our furniture is on the truck somewhere -- and the office is still waiting for confirmation from the trucking company about where it is. They have been waiting for confirmation from the trucking company for more than a week. It feels like the sales team can say what they want about delivery times. Based on what they told us -- worst case was that we would have our furniture last month. On top of that, there are no call backs when you do leave a message. Just let us know what is happening. This will be my last purchase from Capaccio Brothers. I will not put up with this again. more

My husband and I built a house and ordered 3 rooms of furniture from Capaccio Brothers. They told us it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. We are now on our 9th week and are still waiting on 2 rooms. If I didn't keep calling to check on the status of our order, I wouldn't have any idea of what was going on. And once the rest of our furniture does arrive we will have to wait another week or two for them to deliver it. Additionally, they never bothered to mention during the purchasing that they only deliver M-F. We planned a house warming party for 2 weeks after our furniture was supposed to arrive. Too bad I won't have our dining room or living furniture here in time. We won't be going back to furnish the rest of our house from them. Unless you are willing to wait 4-5 months to get your furniture I wouldn't buy anything from Capaccio Brothers. more

For the last five years, I have been driving by Capaccio brothers furniture every day to and from work and I finally decided to go in and look around. At first I didn?t know where to start since I was not looking for a specific piece. Once I got my barring I settled in the sofa department. I talked to a man for 30 minutes about the different styles of sofas and fabrics, and to my surprise at the end of the conversation I find out that I was talking to the owner. I have never had the owner of a company take the time to help me before. I brought my wife in that weekend and we purchased the sofa that the owner recommended. more

The first thing I noticed when I walked in to their store was the massive elevator in the front foyer. You just don?t see things like that anymore, I was impressed. I walked in looking for a desk chair, but I walked out with a beautiful executive desk and matching credenza. I did not find my desk chair but that?s ok, maybe next time. more

I had been looking for a kitchen table that would match my new cabinets in my kitchen for weeks and then I found Capaccio Brothers. The last time I was in the market for a kitchen table the most popular look was oak. Apparently a lot has changed!! As soon as I walked in to their showroom, I knew I was in the right place because they had the largest display of kitchen tables. There had to of been 20 or more. The sales people I dealt with new everything about the furniture and helped me every step of the way. They were not pushy and even advised me to go home and measure before buying. I would recommend to anyone that is in the market for a kitchen table to check them out. more

Had a terrible experience with this store. Purchased a leather recliner for $1,200.00....The chair was delivered and it was crooked. Pointed it out to the delivery person....told me I had to call the store. Called the store and they eventually sent out a repair person. They couldn't do anything so they arranged for a pick-up for the chair so they could repair it. They delivered it again a few weeks later (and many phone calls). The chair was still crooked! Started the process over again....same thing. Third time.....same result. I refused to accept the chair the third time. The owner called and asked that one of us come to the warehouse to speak with him. Got there, he told us to to get lost....he wasn't fixing it....they don't do business with that manufacturer anymore. So if you want to waste your money.....pay for merchandise that is defective.....and deal with extremely rude owners who tell you to drop dead....please shop here! If not.....take a trip to the other ""brothers"" furniture store....They know how to service their clients and will meet the price of any other furniture store. They stand by their products unlike Capaccio Bros. Cons: Won't stand behind the products they sell more

When I lived in the area I bought a large L-shaped desk, 4-drawer file cabinet and 6-ft bookshelf. After we moved out of the area and downsized, I sold the large set and with the proceeds nearly paid for a smaller set. You can not find the quality and price on Oak desks in Madison, WI. I called Capaccio Bros and got a quick quote and arranged for delivery. The delivery charges and service were great. I now bought an entertainment center, again because I could not find the price, quality and service in the Madison, Wi. area. I have to say I did not have the same experience as the previous review. I felt the furniture was way over priced and the store owner/manager was extremely rude! The store was empty and after 20 minutes I was finally helped by a salesperson, no they were not pushy but were also not helpful. There was a 10% off sale and the kitchen set, table and 4 chairs, was still over $2500. I asked the owner if he would forgo the $60 delivery charge and he responded, ""I'll take my 10% back and give you the $60 off."" Needless to say I left and found the same exact set cheaper elsewhere, and they did throw in free delivery. I won't be going back and hardly ever write negative reviews, but this store is a lemon, stay away. more

Upon pulling up the the store I was excited right away. A beautiful building wonderfully landscaped and spotless. I was greeted by friendly staff who were not pushy or arrogant. I was offered some coffee, water or coke and freshly backed cookies which my kids enjoyed while they sat down at the 'bar' to watch their favorite disney movie while I shopped. I ended up furnishing my whole living room from this EXCELENT company. Great customer service and an enjoyable buying experience, I highly recommend this furniture store.
